What We Believe

God is all there is. All people are incarnations of God, and therefore divine. Jesus is a perfect example of that divinity expressed in humanity and represents the divine potential in all people.

God is infinite and unconditional love and personal to all who are aware of Spirit's indwelling presence.

God creates through impersonal physical and spiritual laws, which we are free to use as we choose.

We believe in physical and emotional healing, and the control of conditions in our lives through intelligent use of those spiritual laws; and that "Heaven" and "Hell" are not geographic places, but states of mind created through our individual use or misuse of God's creative laws.

We believe that the Bible is one of the world's many sacred texts which contain spiritual truths. For our western culture the Judeo-Christian scriptures offer an inspiring path to spiritual understanding.

We believe in the eternality of our soul, the power of our spirit, and the wonder of our destiny, for we believe that the life within each of us is God.

The United Centers For Spiritual Living teach the "Science of Mind"; a philosophy, a faith, and a way of life.

The Science of Mind is a correlation of the laws of science, the opinions of philosophy, and the revelations of religion applied to the needs and aspirations of humanity. We seek to understand our relationship to our Creator and the meaning and purpose of our lives.

The Science of Mind is a practical method of thinking and living that utilizes the spiritual laws of the universe to improve our human experience. We believe that each person controls his or her own course in life. Success or failure, sickness or health, happiness or misery are conditions brought about by our individual thought processes and beliefs. We can change our lives by changing our minds.
