"The Reciprocal Yes"

The title of today’s lesson is reciprocal yes and
look at all of those words, reciprocal and yes and what it is that
we are talking to and how it is that we can begin to take the yes
that is already given and begin to reciprocate with our own yes.
Because the challenge is not that there isn’t enough love, enough
joy, enough peace, enough grace, isn’t enough song, the challenge is
that there isn’t an infinite amount of all of those things, there is
everything necessary already exists it is self governing, self
sustaining universe. It already exists, self governing, self
sustaining and self propelling universe, it already exists in the
self. So the yes has already been given and ours is to begin to
reciprocate with that yes and the reciprocal yes is not a one time
act. The reciprocal yes is a life of being it is a way of being and
so we want to step into that yes because when we step into that yes,
when we claim that as a way of being what goes with us is the whole
yes that we have claimed. Everything goes with us from one yes to
the next yes so our new yes takes all the other yeses’ and
accumulates again from a whole new starting point that literally in
creation we start at a zero point, all the time. The quantum field
that neutral place that observer looks into it and see’s that it’s
always a zero, saying what will it be but it is always willing to
take the accumulation that you bring to it. The field is always at
zero but it will take the accumulation that you bring to it. And a
lot of times we say oh my good passed me by , I cannot have my good,
its too late for me, I’m to old, I didn’t do I could have had, all
of the things that we say about our lives how I can’t have my “yes”,
nothing is ever lost in the universe. The field is neutral plastic
and it is always at zero and it will take your yes as you bring it
and when you bring your accumulative yes it responds to that
accumulation. When you know you have the authority to take your
entire yes with you but what do you have to let go of if you take
you’re yes with you, you have to let go of your no. No its too late,
no I can’t , no I didn’t get the education, no you want your yes to
go with you you have to leave your no behind. Take the yes with you
into this law of life which is already said yes to you which by
means of the very fact that life is being done unto you, it’s
already guaranteed how beloved you are of the universe. Because as
we often say you don’t even know how to beat a heart, or make your
liver live, its being done unto you The yes has already been given
to you and are we ready to come into to reciprocal yes that is the
question. Here us what I want us to do I want us today as I want for
you which means I also want for me, I want for you which means I
also want for me. Turn to your neighbor and say I want for you, I
want your yes for you because when you start to expand that yes it
already begins to expand and when you reach outside of yourself to
bring that yes you are saying yes to a larger field. And the field
that you carry with you on your yes is a larger field.
So here is the American Heritage definition of yes, the definition
of yes is it is so. Another definition of yes is as you say or ask.
The word reciprocal is defined in the dictionary, given or owned
mutually, performed experienced or felt by both sides,
interchangeable, complementary. Felt by both sides and
interchangeable or complementary. Mutual action or relationships,
reciprocal means mutual action or relationships. So we have heard as
described already you have the wave and you have the ocean, in
mutual action and relationships. One needs the other the other needs
the one. Nothing happens to the one that doesn’t affect the other,
nothing happens to the other that doesn’t affect the one. A mutual
action or relationship well now here is what Ernest Holmes said
about reciprocal A simple statement comes right out of the Science
of Mind that there is a reciprocal action between the universal and
the individual mind. He is making a statement there is a reciprocal
action between the universal and the individual mind. Reciprocal
means felt by both sides interchangeable and complementary. A mutual
action in a relationship. There is a reciprocal action between the
individual and the universal mind. There is always a reciprocal
action between what appears to be your consciousness and the great
field of consciousness. Every time you think, every time you change,
ever time you say yes the universe says yes. Every time you say yes
the universe says yes, and the universe says yes to your yes. Even
before you said yes the universe already said yes and that is why
the master teacher said before you ask it shall be given unto you.
Before you even ask the yes has already been given, and the question
is do you have reciprocal yes? If you are involved in the reciprocal
yes then the ideas that we talk about here should be causing
something to happen in your experience. If you have the reciprocal
yes the ideas, not the personalities the ideas the principals, if
you have a reciprocal yes the principles should be causing something
to happen in your experience. The thing that should be happening in
your experience is “gain”. Gain should be happening in your
experience. Everyone touch themselves and say I am gain. We always
think well I’m going to get into a deal and I will gain, I am going
to save money on my television and I will gain, I’m going to get
something and I’m going to gain but were not talking about a
physical gain, were talking about gain as a way of being. Because
every time you gain you cause God to gain because God has already
said yes when you give the reciprocal yes, you gain and who else
gains, if all of God gains how much of humanity gains, all of it.
When you say yes to the yes, you gain, God gains humanity gains and
everybody gains out of your yes which by the way means it is so. Yes
and gain and gain means to increase in amount or degree. Gain means
to increase in amount or degree not a specific gain, gain means to
increase in amount or degree.
Gain should be written on the soul of your soul and as a matter of
fact gain is already written on the soul of your soul and the
question is have you said yes to gain. The more love that you have
the more love you gain, who gets more love, God get more love,
humanity gets more love, you get more love, your friends get more
love, when you gain love how much is gained in the universe, all of
it and everywhere you are the ocean acting as a wave bringing into
the ocean what the ocean already is, all love because you said
“yes”. You begin to say yes I am willing to expand, yes I am willing
to gain, yes I am gaining, gaining what because here is what the
challenge is we come to the objective world and we say I want to
gain something and I say no I want for you to gain everything. I
want your soul’s expression to be about gain and why would I want
that for you? Because if you gain what do I get? Not because were in
spiritual community because that is the nature of the principal. The
principal says gain should be written on the fore front of your
consciousness so that you are in the business of gaining because
gaining is another word for expanding and what is God doing all the
time? What are you doing all the time, expanding but not without a
yes. It is your yes; it is your reciprocal yes for the universe has
already said yes. It is your reciprocating that brings the gain. But
gain of not stuff because we already know no matter what the stuff
is it comes and comes to pass. If you looking to get a new car and
you drive it off the lot it is an old car, everything in the
physical world comes and comes to pass so how can you gain in the
physical universe because Ernest Holmes said it very clearly you can
use anything that you want in this plane of existence, you can gain
as much of anything that you want in this plane of existence but to
use because you cannot keep it. It doesn’t matter if your Donald
Trump or Bill Gates you cannot keep it, you can use as much as you
want but you cannot keep it. You can gain and you can keep the gain
because the gain will keep happening to you because the stuff will
come and it will change and you will continue to gain and more stuff
will come and it will change and you will continue to gain.
Everybody say yes, I am gain, I am the one who is gaining because
the I AM that continues to gain, not the stuff, the stuff comes and
comes to pass. But the I AM is coming into gain, to the upward
forward progressive spiral of life I am saying yes. So what is it
that I am gaining well what you are is the one who can determine
what happens to you in the river?
Let me say that again what you are is the one who can determine what
happens to you in the river. Two things you cannot do, you cannot
destroy the river, and you cannot take yourself out of the river.
The river is and you are one with the river, the river is in motion
have you noticed? The river is in motion I am God in action you can
be God in action as anything you want to be the only thing you
cannot be is not God in action. I am tired of all this action God
and I want to stop, no, no, all you do is dam the river when you do
that. You must accept the river and embrace the river and you change
where you are in the river.
For example if I’m over on this side of the river and on this side
of the river no matter what happens every once and awhile I hit a
big old rock and it hurts like a son of gun when I hit those rocks.
Sometimes it is two or three months, sometimes its two or three
years, but dam those rocks and life to me is about occasionally
flowing until I hit a rock boom boom and that is because that is
where you are in the river but if you just move over here you can
float, you can look up, you can be carried along and not going
against everything and see all the glory of life come to you and use
as much as you want, not because you decided it was a bad river but
you decided no I think I will choose where I will be in the river.
The river that I had been flowing in, the part of the river that I
have been flowing in flows over rocks, well why don’t you move in
the river. That part of the river will always have rocks in it as
long as you stay in that part of the river there will be rocks. If
you move someplace else in the river you can move anywhere in the
river because it is a river of liquid potential. The river says what
part of it do you want, you can have all of it and you say well I
choose to gain well in the middle of the river when you flow with
the river you can dream into the river whatever you want to gain and
it will show up for you in the river. It will not stay it will come
and it will come to pass but when it passes and your there in the
river the next thing that comes on that section of the river is
another great and glorious gain. Another place for me to say yes
that’s what I’m talking about but you cannot keep it it will change
but its ok because where you are in the river, what comes down to
you in the river is always some greater gain, some greater good
because you have said yes to the river and yes to who you are in the
river.
The only thing you cannot do is not be in the river the one thing
you cannot stop is the river, the one thing you cannot do is make
something in the river stay because the river is in motion but what
you can do is put yourself in the river where you need to be. God
and I are swimming in life, expanding and growing and gaining I am
recreating the reciprocal action of God because I am saying yes to
that which is happening in my experience. And my yes is beginning to
expand in every area in my life and am I willing to gain, everyone
say yes. Someone says if I’m willing to gain then I am going to have
to know that I am one with the river and that river is the river
called God and I am God.
Touch yourself and say I am God and then your subjective self says,
no no me, not my disease, not my problem, not my finance problem,
not my love problem, not my out of purpose problems you see I cannot
really be God. Oh no so you take your little version of yourself
which we call ego and you say you are not really God and God says
yes you are God and who has to change me or the river, I have to
change my little place in the river to put myself in the river. I am
that and I am the one who must say yes to that and you say you think
you are god, if you actually said in this room I am God turn to
someone and ask them do you really think you are God? Now you
actually see in the room we are able to say it but were a little
nervous about it but someone else here supports you I am God so what
changed was your identification You just moved in the river the
river did not change, you just moved in the river by saying I am
God. You say doesn’t that sound egotistical and I hope so, do you
think you are something special, yes.
Who do you think you are something special, yes? Ernest Holmes says
find me somebody who has detached his emotional, psychological ego
from his real self and there is a little part of me that is afraid
to claim God. Oh I claim God and I walk outside and my life is not
perfect and we argue with ourselves and in that building I was God I
walked outside and I wasn’t God anymore and I don’t know what
happened? It is because of your identify and this center is not
about destroying your identify infact we want your identify to
become Hugh, we want your identify to become identified with the I
AM that you really are. We want you to know yourself as the glory of
God. We want you to gain from that knowing, we want your life to
expand so good that you radiate so much good that it cannot help but
overflow from you and how do we do our work in the world because
your good is overflowing our good cannot help but overflow, oh why
because your god were god and were supporting your yes and we say
yes to your yes, the question is are you saying yes to your yes? Our
saying yes to your yes will support you but it’s not going to work
unless you say yes. Find me someone who knows that that ego without
having to deny the place, yes I am god but I’m not all of God. Yes I
am a wave in the ocean of God and that means I am the ocean, yes,
find me someone who can find the right place for his ego without
having to destroy any part of himself because the transcendence is
there also.
Does anybody have a small self that does small things and reacts in
small ways and that is ok because you are just finding the place?
The small self isn’t who I really am who I am is the big self, who I
really am is the yes, who I am is the yes to the yes, that’s who I
am and out of my yes to God yes I expand because there is a
reciprocal action between the individual mind and the universal mind
Here is what I want us to see today by means of the consciousness
that you have today, not something your going to become but by means
of the consciousness you already have today you can begin to work
miracles in your life today if you are willing to say yes right? And
here is how powerful those miracles are because these miracles are
not going to come from your certificates, they are not going to come
from your training, there not going to come from your PHD. It is
going to come from you, its going to come from your yes and your
being willing to accept the transcendent power of the I AM that
exists as you because you are one with the one. Remember last week
we talked about the butterfly effect and the idea is that the
butterfly’s wings can flap its wings and change the atmosphere so
much that it could create a tornado or change the course of a
tornado just by flapping its wings and the idea is that a small
change in the initial condition, remember here the idea of the
butterfly effect, a small change in the initial condition will have
Hugh effect in the outer world leading to large scale alteration. A
small change in the initial condition will lead to large scale
affects, oh so here is what Ernest Holmes says on the reciprocal
action between the universal and the immediate. He says there is a
reciprocal action between the universal and the individual mind As
we look at God God looks at us. Is it not true that when we look at
God God is looking at itself to us? Do you see this? Your version of
god is god look at its own version of itself through you. Your the
one who is deciding how big God will be because there is a
reciprocal action automatically happening. So God come to us as we
come to God and there is a reciprocal action as we come to God God
comes to us. God comes to us as we come to God so there is the
simplified teaching of the master. It is done unto us as we believe
and then he quotes Ralph Waldo Emerson and he says act as though I
am and I will be. Act as though I am, everyone say I am ok no
challenge so now act as though you are. Acts as though God has
already said yes to your yes are you willing to act as though? The I
AM that I AM is the I am that I am and am I willing to allow my
identification of self to be that high that the real self that I am
is one with the saints, sages masters and prophets and the masters
and prophets said these things and more shall ye do. He told me I
should heal the blind, cause the blind to see the lame to walk the
deaf to hear well I am that and only when you say yes to that do you
begin to do that. The only way you can begin to create the miracles
in your life is when you say yes to the miracles, when you say yes
to the I AM that I AM and so here is the line from the poet and the
author Henry Miller. He says the moment one give close attention to
anything even a blade of grass its becomes mysterious, awesome,
indescribably magnificent, a world in itself. The moment you give

world in itself. The moment who gives close attention to anything?
The moment I give close attention to anything so lets say you go
into a meeting and people are distraught. There are all kinds of
disagreement about what we should do or ought to do or what are the
right courses in this meeting. What if you happen to bring close
attention to it and go here in this room is a potential for a yes.
The moment you bring that into the room you have changed everything
in that room. You have become the place where the miracle unfolds
simply because you have said yes to the miracles.
When I go to my office my boss is rude and disrespectable and it is
amazing what he has always been, up until now because I walk into
that meeting and I expect a reciprocal yes to my yes and the moment
that I carry that into a room into a meeting, into a circumstance
into a situation I have flapped my wings and the potential for large
scale change now exists because you walked into the room with your
yes. In any room in any circumstance in any situation you can be the
change agent because you change your perspective on it and looked to
see the miracle and the magnificence, it will be there. You can look
at a blade of grass and change it from a blade of grass into a
miracle because you said yes to it. You can look at the flowers you
can look at your beloved you can look at your children, you can look
at anywhere you want and as soon as you see the miracle in it you
change the paradigm in which everything can happen. You say well do
I have that much power and I have some good news for you, you are
more powerful than a butterfly because you are what god is and god
is what you are. Because you can claim I AM, you can know that the
authority of your yes is already given unto you so you have to say
yes to your gain Act as though I am and I will be then say yes,
gain. Consciousness creates experience if we recognize and love our
higher self the paradigm changes. Everyone say yes gain when you
recognize yourself in any situation you’re going to create a
paradigm of gain. When you recognize that the ones who don’t believe
in miracles aren’t very realistic because there not looking around
to see the miracles everywhere present, if you walk into the room
and know that everywhere there is a possibility for a miracles guess
what is going to happen, yes gain is what’s going to happen. When
you become the one who realizes that miracles are everywhere. When a
miracle appears and you recognize that it is not a supernatural act
at all but an act of consciousness doing what it does. It was simple
a higher order of being coming into play and you claimed that
miracle into the field what do you think will happen gain is going
to happen. Everyone say yes gain.
You have to draw it forth and your gain the way that you attract
gain right now will attract what you mean in your experience. The
way you are being gain will attract how much gain is in your
experience. Do you want to gain say yes gain. Do you want everyone
in this room to gain from their spiritual vantage point say yes
gain? With the intent of your word comes the enfoldment of your
world. There is a reciprocal action in god because you bring the
furor, you decide what the reciprocal answer to your yes and it
depends on the quality of your yes. When you recognize that every
atomic particle and sub atomic particle, a wave of light in the
whole creation is interconnected, when you see everything as
interconnected you have a possibility to gain, can you use miracles
yes, gain. I choose to gain this is the anatomy of a miracle the
spontaneous appearance of that which is already given but you could
not receive. A miracle is the spontaneous appearance of that which
was already given which up until at that moment you could not
receive, say yes gain. I want miracles in my life the infinite
creation is the manifestation of invisible intelligence and power
and law. Creation is the manifestation of invisible intelligence and
power and law. I am creation clothed do you see that? Being creation
clothed I choose to gain, I am creation clothed and say yes gain,
you do not put on the clothes of creation to diminish yourself you
put on the clothes of creation to expand yourself, do you see it?
Without your yes there can be no gains. All of the ideas that we
speak of here anything that we talk about that uplifts, that heals
that inspires, that moves you to a higher ground it’s yours and that
is the beginning place of a greater gain because the whole reason
that you can into being was on behalf of the divine to show the
divine what could be gained as you. And no matter how much that you
use you cannot keep all of it but you can bring forth a positive and
incredible gain and that gain is yours now and forever. I am the one
who is writing on the walls of my life everywhere that I am, gain
grow in me Gather in me, expand in me because the more I gain the
more I can bring to the field to bring more gain, the more everybody
gains the more God gains the more I gain the more everybody gains
because I have lined up to the yes and I have reciprocated by saying
yes gain in me now.
So this week I invite you to invite that gain, to look for that
gain, to expect that gain, to claim that gain, to humble receive the
gain, to go forth to yet a greater gain so that you can bring forth
a greater blessing to others yes and to you and yes because there is
only one of us here.
The more I scoop up and gain the greater gain I create for all and
so my being willing to lead with other people and receive my good
doesn’t make me selfish its makes me a giver unto the world and that
is what God is doing and that is what I am and that is what I am
doing.
So my friends I invite you to consider and to respond to this
statement and the response is yes gain. The whole world says yes to
me, every dimension of life says yes to me and I say yes gain.
I invite you to think on these things and we will explore the
possibilities.
