I want to start with the premise of the title and where that is really going because we stared a few years ago of having Easter in September and we had an Easter program and we began to develop in consciousness what we meant by in our thinking and feeling atmosphere what we meant by a resurrected spirit. What we meant by an ascension process and we planted that in September because it takes awhile to convince our consciousness to create to get enough room to receive our good. You and I are trained by the world to pay attention to content meaning the activity of what is happening day to day. So we hear the stock market went up, the stock market went down and we hear this is happening good and this is happening bad and we are all the time getting content which is suppose to tell us how to be. I don’t recommend that you live that way but that’s what’s happening and that is the way the world has been training us that we respond to content to allow it to tell us how were going to be.
So I would like to be clear about what Spirit of Home is and it is a six week program that culminates on the fifteenth of November in a big show that the congregation is putting together called Home. We are looking to establish in this next six weeks as we work on our consciousness of really establishing what it is to be home in spirit. What it is to be home in god and to know ourselves as home in god. It is like the bible stories the story of the prodigal son and the story of the prodigal son is that he goes way out to the far country and he leaves his father’s house and he goes way out to the far country and he squanders all of his fortune and finally he ends up in the pig slop and he says oh my god even my father’s animals are treated better than I am treating myself and he makes the choice to return home. The meaningful part of that story is the way the father in this case the father symbolizing god which is not a male, father mother principal the principal of home when the moment the father sees the son he welcomes him from the distant and says lets have the big celebration because my son who was lost is now found. But the question is where does that going home happen, when did it really happen and the full realization happened in the prodigal’s sons experience when he finally realized how much the father, mother loved him and how much the father mother was always giving and never separated himself from the son even though the son went out to the far country. So the moment of change didn’t happen when the father greeted the son the moment of change happened when the son in the far country said I am going to turn home. The moment of transition is the turn home, that’s the moment the rest is just the story the content of the story but the moment of transition for you and me when we realize has anybody been out here on the planet earth the third planet from the sun in this distant galaxy called the milky way, has anybody been out here on the planet earth and feel like there really in the far country? That you really somehow journeyed very far away and the experience is once we grow up once we mature once we realize that we live in a spiritual universe that everything is born of the one spirit. Everything is animated by the same life force then we realize there is no where in the oneness where there is any distance. If I’m at one end of the one and I’m at the other end of the one how many are there? There is only one so this whole perception of distance or separation is something that you and I created. Now were not personally responsible because we didn’t say I want to live my life isolated and alone from the power of my own being. I want to live my life separate from the kingdom of the most high, separate from being immersed in the glory of the god that I am. We never said that yet the experience and the world that we live in conditions us that the world is going to tell how it’s going to be. You see how different that is than I’m already home in god and so were in the process you and I of coming home. And here is the essence of today’s lesson and where I want you to go.
You think vision 2010 means should I take the time to imagine what my life will look like in 2010? You decide whether you want to take the time to figure out what your life will go through in 2010 but I want to go someplace even further than that. The vision of how I’m going to be in 2010. Not what the stuff in my life is going to be, not what the content of what my life is going to be but how I am going to be in 2010. How am I going to be and within that context I want to offer you a very simple truth. You might want to write it down or make a note and it is important that you remember this simple truth. It is better to be pulled by a vision than pushed by pain. Let me say that again, it is better to be pulled by a vision than it is to be pushed by pain. So the question is so what is the vision that would pull me because here is what we are beginning to understand. Here is what the world is beginning to understand you and I are going to understand it at a new level because we know we are part of the one. Everyone touch themselves and say I AM, I AM is a cool statement of truth. You exist and because you are able to say I AM you belong to the one; there is no other authority from which you could make that statement. I AM I exist I have the full capacity to make that statement, I AM and when I make that statement what am I bringing with it, I AM out in the far country all by myself or I am one with the one. I am one with the opulent truth, one with the divine love, one with perfection, I am the holy spirit in action I AM the perfect trinity of God, I AM not this is the way God is but this is what I AM. That I begin to move in side of it and begin to allow my consciousness to embody something more and my consciousness is the truth of whom and what I am. It is what I do, it is what I say, it is what I think, and it’s what’s creating all that I am. I may have walked into a room but my consciousness doesn’t need me to walk into the room. We can be aware of consciousness without any physical reality the fact that I am here means this is where I am now. Now there is a good shot that my consciousness might be doing some good somewhere else in the world even though I am right here. Because I am just like god I am the omnipresent spirit but we are the ones who have to come into the place where we are allowing our work to do its work. We are allowing our good accumulated good,
Ralph Waldo Emerson the American writer and a literary genius he said on the subject of compensation God is way ahead of theology meaning how ever we describe the law of compensation the law of compensation is for every good I give there is a good for me to receive. For every time I give out light there is a light for me to receive. For every time I imamate a higher vibration there is a higher vibration for me to receive. And that storehouse in the perfect law of compensation is always there even if your consciousness was closed to receiving it. You good has been storing up for you and the question is well at what point where this perfect divine savings account which by the way Wall Street cannot control this perfect law of compensation which is always receiving my good, always knows what’s happening, is when will I actually receive it the answer is when I have the consciousness to receive. And here we are left with the great teacher Dr. Daniel Morgan who left this plane of existence last year but his indelible truth that he offered this mystical statement lived beyond time he said the only thing you cannot have is that which you cannot embody. The only thing which you cannot have is that which you cannot bring into your consciousness and allow yourself to receive it. So we are in a new place now, and I don’t have to pay attention to the world because the perfect law of compensation is already storing my good but I look at my spread sheet and I go boy do I need to open up to receive, do you see it? And that is our work, god has already given me the eternal well spring of life how do I jump back into that and give back all that I am to the God that gave me all that I am? And in that willingness to give back my consciousness expands my sense of being home expands, my awareness expands and so what then do we want. So if you were to do the work if you decided you wanted to look at your life in 2010 we have strategies we have methodologies that we recommend that you could use. You could look at the four areas of your life health, wealth, abundance, purpose, career the way you are and relationships You look at health wealth love and relationships all of those things and you way two years from now what do I want my life to look like? You see two years ago when this community was in a financial hole we did not pay attention to the hole, we paid attention to where we wanted to go and we wanted to create a spiritual community that would sustain itself and we have done so and the mortgage is due this week and we will sustain ourselves but sustaining is not what we mean. Isn’t this interesting because on the upward forward progressive spiral we grow forward well what do you mean we don’t want to just be sustained? No we want to be self generating, we want to be self generative that our good comes back to us multiplied and creates more good that we begin to generate good and receive from our own generation of that good. Well we had an idea to put on a show and we don’t know what the show is about and an idea pops up and the whole thing is called home and the next thing you know we have a lot of souls all working together and the thing is way bigger than me and is out of control, thank god it is out of control because it is self generative. It is generating its own creativity, its own power, and its own authority. The children are down stairs now and are generating their own authority; there own power they are learning principal and we want that to be self generating don’t we? We want that to grow and expand and be self generating. We love the book store and the wind chimes and the statues and the Buddha’s the Christ and the Saint John’s and the book and Deepak Chopra and the Terry Cole Whittaker we want them all in there and we want it to just generate out and do its good and we want it to be self generating and do its good and don’t we want it to be self generating, we want it to go do its good and we want something that is viable and whatever you do don’t let that good extend beyond these walls? No we want it to go out and generate we want
Why do we want you to come on Sunday for so that the extra hundred thousand dollars that comes into your life, comes into your life. Because as you grow and expand your good is my good, your good is our good. As the community expands what do we want to have happen and in 2010 we would like to have the whole building totally remodeled but the only way that is going to happen is that it begins to be self generative, that we love this place, we use this corner so that we can surpass ourselves. We go to a whole new place to what it is to be alive to be allowing the spirit to generate because I am home in god and god has no limit to the amount of the universes. Wait a minute no limit to the amount of universes it can create. The universes would be the ones that we call the Milky Way which we cannot really find the edge of yet we say that one universe of this one little tiny planet of which there are millions of planets and we now we know there are millions of universes. There is no shortage of anything in the universe, the question is how do I come into it and then what is the goal, what is the vision that will pull me forward not just in content but in 2010 who will I be, what will I be in the world that will call us forward and here is the idea, here is what I would like you to think about.
I would like you to think sovereignty the word sovereignty means absolute authority and I would like you to think about the absolute sovereignty of yourself. Everyone say I AM, I am sovereign you see the I AM that I AM my in my ascended state of consciousness is the absolute authority in the world. That’s the real authority and for us to come into sovereignty what did they call Jesus they called Jesus the sovereign why because he had an authority beyond kings and queens and emperors he had an authority beyond content in the world. He said as the authority I am the way the light and the truth, Moses said I am that I am. Buddha said I am awake and you and I by the full authority already given to us by God because I can touch myself and I can say with full authority I AM and that’s the authority. That is the sovereignty but not you your small self and your troubles, not you and your small self and your options no but you and your ascended self. You as knowing yourself as one with god you as the one who can embody the idea that you are the sovereign and only at that moment will you rise up to that place do you have that authority. You have to rise up then and what is the formal distinction of whether authority is held to be sovereign. Formal distinction is whether the authority is held to be sovereign is that whether it is above political or other inner things. The formal authority of what makes something sovereign is above all kinds of interference; there is no interference about sovereign sovereign is sovereign. And when you recognize it that I am what god is and god is what I am these words that we have been saying and teaching for more than eighty five years that we have been saying that I am what god is, god is what I am and finally we get to a place where we say it enough that we go oh you mean I am is the sovereign authority of the whole globe, I am what god is and before Abraham said there was god I am, that I am. I am the sovereign and oh what happens when we come into sovereignty in our own lives? When we come into sovereignty in our own lives and if you are fortunate enough to have one your account manager says your portfolio is this or that and you say awe pay no attention the law of compensation is perfect and I am the sovereign and watch my wealth come back to me multiplied pressed down and running over why because I am not going to stop giving because some one in the world has told me I have run out when the universe is infinitely expanding at this very moment, has no concept of running out, could never have a concept of running out and would never run out on its own because I am what that is and that is what I am, it would never run out on its own and since we have the authority of the sovereign and we create the appearance that it has run out, can we take our account held by the perfect law of compensation and squish down on it and make no room to embody, oh yes we can.
So it is time for us to reinvest but to reinvest in the sovereign that we are, in the absolute authority that I AM that I AM which means to make an investment in the qualities of that sovereign. We need to make an investment in friendship, any investment in being helpful, an investment in spiritual healing an investment in a more successful life the ability to make this kind of investment exists within every one of us and it will become actualized and realized when we draw from the infinite wellspring of the eternal I Am that I AM. From the very power of the god that is within me which is the only god there ever is or ever will be and the only god that you will ever know is the one in you. There is no other way to know god except through you, no one gets to the father mother except through me, and nobody gets there except knowing I AM that I AM. It may work its way through seventeen thousand different religions until finally they come into the sovereign authority and the I AM that I AM. And how ever you got here, how ever you got yourself in this room you are now given the opportunity to perceive the ultimate authority and recognize that god has already empowered you to be that. If I am that and this is the wave that is coming up then I had better get myself to a better stand. If it is not coming out the way you want it you had better get yourself to a nunnery. This is a place where you are going to practice the principals, understand the principals and learn the principals more deeply and the best nunnery I know is right here and you can come in and you say I have things to learn I have to raise myself up and change my vibrations and yes you do and you can. And you know what because you are beloved others will see you as the face of god behold everywhere I look I see the face of god Walt Whitman says. I have got to have the authority because you are the sovereign and who is going to be the sovereign if your not? If someone else is going to be the sovereign guess what you just do you just gave your power away and that is why the Buddha said if you meet the Buddha along the way slay him and that is an actual line if you meet the Buddha along the way slay him why because you are going to give your power to that thing outside of yourself. You are going to give up the one gift the most essential gift that god has given you which is the gift that your the supreme authority as one with the one.
Each one of us has to claim and begin to work our own consciousness where we look and say oh that doesn’t feel like sovereign oh God I have to change that. What do I have to shift, what do I have to become in order to be the sovereign. The one thing you cannot do if you’re the sovereign is fall down into the realm of war because the sovereign has nothing against it, you see that? You say war with what you see content tells us the way we are suppose to be today and the way I hear the news is that we are in the worst financial times since the great depression and come on in this room get honest oh yes feels like the depression to me. You have not been doing that because it is not the truth, that is what the world is telling you and the world is adjusting because old energy is not going to work anymore. The energy based on power will not work anymore, the energy based on love and the authority of the sovereign will work everywhere. The energy of based on of I am going horde mine, keep mine hold onto me and protect against you that will not work anymore. The energy of I am the sovereign and there is unlimited good that comes in and as and through me according to my own consciousness and that I therefore become a light unto the world, no matter how much suffering is going on because I vibrate at a higher level and I say everybody is welcome to come unto me. Because the I AM that I AM has infinite amount of room for everybody and so you can see how even the masters and the mystics throughout time were misinterpreted and everybody thought they were talking about the personality, no they were not they were talking about their ascended self, they were talking about who they actually are. They are talking about who you are and calling us into the music of that level of abundance of that level of vision. So if the vision 2010 is I am going to be walking in my sovereignty, and I am talking about a level of heath and boy can I ski? So in the area of creativity boy I have so much yet to do and I have to open the fluid gates of my own creativity and in 2010 as the sovereign man the creativity is going to be flowing through me. How are your relationships going to be in 2010? Health wealth love and purpose I am only here for god. Every creative idea that moves in me I am going to act upon it and I will bring it forth to bear fruit into the kingdom that what I am going to be at the sovereign when I decide to rise up into my sovereignty.
So don’t pick in 2010 a new car a new house no, no, because that is just stuff that is content. Is your consciousness going to rise up into your dominion, into your claim of who and what you are and this is the time and this is the chance to become the sovereign, to grab the vision and say come home and yet you go out in the world this week and something is going to whack you just because the world is teaching us that there is a whacking consciousness out there. And it is going to whack you and you say oh I forgot and then I remember I am the sovereign and how do I do that again and I say oh I have to get back to the nunnery. I have got to get back so that I can surpass myself. I have to get back where I can go into a higher level and know my own truth and claim my own truth and watch it come into my world. I have to go back to a community to help it flourish because my consciousness there is such a gift to all of them. You have got to know that your showing up is a beneficial presence just because you are there and you come into that sovereignty.
It is up to us to be the ones so here is what Michael Beckwith says about the sense of the world right now he says thought forms that are emerging from a sense of connection are much more powerful than thoughts forms that emerge from a sense of separation.
Thought forms that are emerging from a sense of connection I am that I am and I am flourishing in that I am and I am supporting others in flourishing in that I am those are much more powerful than thought forms that emerge from a sense of separation.
So the few individuals that are holding the space for the possibility a few individuals and that would be us that are holding the space for the possibility mitigates and neutralizes the negativity of thousands of people who are holding. They are not only like midwives we who are holding the light of new possibilities. We are not only like midwifes we are holding the template of what is trying to emerge and it is very important work and who else is going to do the important work except the sovereign. When I rise up and say no to this limitation and fear and yes to the love and joy and abundance that is mine, yes to the opportunities that are there and yes to my expectations of a greater good. If no extra good came from the mailman this week you know it’s not the mailman you have to talk to god about that. God what is the matter you are not giving the unexpected good coming from unexpected places, the mail is just one of those place but come on mailman show up with my good with my blessing with my love with my kindness with some kind of joy that I didn’t know was coming to me because I am expecting my unexpected good. When you have a day when your unexpected good doesn’t come you say I must have not prayed well enough for everyone’s else’s unexpected good. I want it coming my beloved come on what do I have to do, what do I have to become, what do I have to let go of in order to step into my sovereignty. Because we are doing very important work Abraham Lincoln said it very simply he said determines that the thing can and shall be done and you will find a way. Determine that the thing can and shall be done and we will find a way. Who is the one who makes the determination, everyone say I AM. Are you looking for something to find a way in your life is it in your love, is it in your workplace, whatever it is that you are looking for you are the one who must determine your good is coming your way? You are the one who must set the stage as to how much of that good that you can have. You are the one who has to lift up. Oscar Wilde says how do I do that and he made a big dent in human consciousness by being bold enough to be who he was. He said something powerful he said be yourself because everybody else is taken. So the pathway to your greater good is through yourself. The pathway to where you want to be is imagining dreaming the life you want and moving in that direction. Dreaming the life that you want and asking prayer and guidance, ask the father mother to guide me home into myself. Guide me up into my ascended value, guide me up into this vision of who I might be as someone who has the absolute authority in my life and then I am guided to move from that place and I am guided to live from that vision everything will become self generative. Your work your love your friendships, your life your spiritual community your family, everything will generate itself into a greater good when you decide. When you decide to be a sovereign in health wealth love and happiness. It exists for all of us because we have never really gone to the far country, we just turned away from home, now turn back and allow your presence of being home to guide you into a greater good. To guide you into a deeper love, to let the power of the Christ, the Atman the Buddha the high self all the glory that has ever lived let it live in you and that’s the invitation and that’s the glory and that’s the vision for each of us and all of us in 2010. We are not waiting for the new age we are going to become it. My friends I invite you to think on these things and as we gather together in the consciousness of only one together let us explore the possibilities.
