"The Magic Carpet"

I have shared and many of you know we teach five tools of mind. Five ways of being able to use the energy of spirit to use the law of attraction to use the law of mind to understand ourselves as beings of consciousness. If you want to learn those five ways of course we invite you to come to class and we will talk about them step into them every time we gather but the idea is that each of us begins to be empowered to comfortable live our lives and fulfill our purpose. And we are engaged in a rapidly changing world and so we begin to see that to learn the truth of the spiritual principal, to learn how to engage spiritual principal will infact take us and does take us into a whole new world. And what happens is we have practiced in one of these tools which is forgiveness and the actual experience of forgiveness which is to cancel the demands and expectations that are blocking our attitude of love. Well what we know is God is born in the image, God is love and we are born in the image of that love and therefore we recognize that we are born to be beings of love. So we engage practices because humanity up until now has not always known its true nature. Has not always know that were born to be love and to be love is not a strain it’s not an effort it’s not an overcoming its rather all alone and when we step into the place of knowing that there is only one power in and through the universe, touch yourself and say I AM see when we know there is only one power in and through the universe and I am that power we begin to function in a whole new world.
And it is living in that whole new world that the great teacher Emma Curtis Hopkins calls the high watch. So the carpet ride happens to us when the magic carpet is the title of the lesson and we would like our lives as though we were carried on the grace of the winds of spirit we want to live in that kind of grace flying and soaring and expressing and creating and having our life be about being the love that we actually are. And yet that will require that we move from someplace low and we ascend to a higher place in consciousness and we begin to live from that high watch. And when we begin to live from that place indeed a whole new world begins to be revealed in and through and as all that we are.
I was the facilitator in the forgiveness workshop and all I can say is thank god that the tires on the car knew that I was staying on the road when I was driving home. Because I made so many turns and I had to keep finding out where I was and where I was going. And all I did was support people in returning to love and in that support I got lifted so high and what I knew was when we understand there is a field of consciousness, when we begin to understand the principal announced by the birds of a feather flock together is a principal and we begin to vibrate at a certain place and then every where in that field of vibration when we grow when we expand when we shift when we go up high the field is charged with that atmosphere of rising up. We say oh well can I let them and we say spirit works its a feeling and your going to have to get into it and let the feeling come into your experience because other wise you can watch the news and believe that the events of the world are going to determine your good. We already have had the practical experience and what is the practical experience and there is a line that says that science and religion do not belong together and of course the whole premise of our teaching and the great philosopher Ernest Holmes who wrote the book the science of mind in the opening paragraph he reminds us and I remind you again and again of this statement. He wrote we all look forward to the day in 1922 he wrote we all look forward to the day when science and religion walk hand in hand through the visible through the world that we know into the invisible. And that’s what’s happening in our time, we know too much now to stay in the old ways, we know too much about how our consciousness creates experience. We know too much that the observer affects the outcome and science is now agreeing with the saints, sages the mystics the prophets it’s all coming together and we can look at the science and we can look at the prophets and we can look at the religion and we can put it all out there and nothing will shift. Nothing will shift and just because you know something no it’s when that knowing moves from your head and into your heart and begin to embody in your consciousness what it is to be the I AM that I AM. What it is to be a co-creator with God so what has been revealed in the whole new world, in this whole fantastic point of view we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God and God’s creation are one thing. God and God’s creation is one thing and god could not withhold from its creation because it would be withholding from itself and that’s impossible. And so why have we been stuck so far down and only because we have not held the high watch, we have lived from the ground up instead of from the state of consciousness out. From the state of consciousness out is a whole new world and it’s not a world determined by what happens in the world it’s a world determined by what I create. I remind you and you say how do we do it in science. The definition of science is laws applied to bring about specific results well there are spiritual laws and they can be applied to bring about specific results and you only discovered it as a law when you know it then you can apply it again and again and it works for you every time. At the moment your consciousness can embody something it’s yours. So the work is not about getting things it’s about getting my consciousness to the place where I can embody it. It is also about getting my consciousness to the place where I can embody the idea and in a world that is changing so rapidly because God is looking at itself through its creation. God is looking at itself through its creation and that self as you and I are beginning to be able to perceive the whole universe. And why wait to fly to soar on that magic carpet in a whole new world why wait when the magic carpet says claim it ascend go to the high watch and become it. Go to the high watch and become it and we say well how does that principal work? The principal is that you are a spiritual being, you were born in God as God with God and here is the big shift for God. You were born for God God has already found you worthy to make you the Christ, to make you the atman, to make you the Buddha awakened in the world God has already found you worthy and are we willing to claim that into our consciousness, are we willing to step in because there is a choice all the time the choice between love and fear is made every moment in our hearts and in our minds. The choice between love and fear is made every moment in our hearts and in our minds and that is where the inner peace process begins. And only as we have inner peace can we bring that inner peace into the world both the world of international politics and international relationships but also the world of our new relationships. And a world filled with the harmonious reality of God as the source and substance of all things therefore God is the source and substance of supply and God is not having a global economic crisis! And so you have a choice, you right now as a walking metaphysician in the world you have a choice. Touch yourself and say I AM that, I am a walking metaphysician because I know I immerged from spirit in my true and eternal nature is a spiritual being and I am that. So are you going to allow the world to tell you what you as God will be, no you cannot allow the world to tell you what you as God would be because God does not allow the world to tell God what God is, could you imagine? Then we really would be in trouble but god says no behold I stand at the door and knock, what I thought we said that to God no God says to you behold I stand at the door of your consciousness and I knock that you will wake up and rise up to be the ascended master, that you will be the light of the world.
Just yesterday in my forgiveness workshop I was showing people how to do the self forgiveness work and I rose up into my high consciousness and you know what God told me, the most high God the I am that I am told me I am the light of the world. I am the light of the world now some of you are thinking does he “think”. He is the light of the world, everyone touch yourself and say I am, I am the light of the world. Did you see your being the light of the world has nothing to do with my being the light of the world? The fact that I am the light of the world doesn’t diminish your being the light of the world in any way shape or form. If more than one of us is the light of the world then guess what we have more light! Of course we are the awakening light workers, of course we have to claim it because we are God looking at God saying God look what’s happening in your creation were birthing a whole new world. A whole fantastic point of view but it’s way up here and when I’m crystal clear then I’ll be in a whole new world with you. But its way up here and when I’m crystal clear then I can be in a whole new world with you. And each one of us has the opportunity to rise up into a whole new world and you have a choice, you have a choice you could float on the magic carpet of the I AM presence the holy spirit itself, the grace of the most high the law of the cosmos, in you and as you and through you, you can be that or you could be your diminishing portfolio? You could be afraid of your real estate value; you could be worried about where is your good going to come from. You could think that George w. Bush has control of your life, your choice and you have a choice. You can believe that the election has control of you life, you can believe your spread sheet, your stuff has control of your life you have a choice because God made you free and God said you can rise up and be the light of the world. You can rise up and awaken to the glory that I have placed in your heart and soul for you are the light of the world, you can rise up and be the light of the world. Or you can choose to be a victim of the world. Well if I’m going to rise up and be the light of the world what does that involve? Oh no what does that involve? You know it was coming and here comes the “c” word brace yourself the big “C word ok if I’m going to be the light of the world I have to do what? I have to commit, you mean I have to be committed to being the light in the world? It is so much easier to watch the TV and believe the world is falling apart look the world is falling apart it is so much easier to commit to that and then I can get tumbled on the rocks and blow around by the currents of life and really believe that I am just a victim and God doesn’t really love me and according to your belief, it is done unto you. So what does it mean to commit it means that everyday when you wake up you commit to rising up high. It means everyday when you wake up you commit to the principals that you want to live by. It means everyday when you wake up you decide to be a place of extraordinary high vibration in the love of the cosmic Christ itself it means you decide the Buddha was talking to you. It means you decide to place your mind, your body, your spirit and your affairs in the hand of God and you begin to live from that place. Some people say well does that mean it cost something yes it costs something? It costs your whole being and its willingness to jump in and say yes. It means that anytime your good happens your good affects other people and brings more good. It means that every time your good happens you give good and you get more good from your giving and when you give more good you get more good and when you get more good you give more good and the more good you have the greater good the world has. Everyone touch them selves and say the more good I have the more good the world has. Why because I am committed to sharing my good but in these tough times how is a spiritual center going to prosper and I say God said the tuff times so that we could prosper? God send these tuff times to the rest of humanity so that you could prosper. Why because every time you get a good it brings a greater good and of course God wants you to prosper because every time I get a good I give a greater good. Every time I get a good I give a greater good and I am committed and there is no such thing as a good coming to me without my sharing that good, it doesn’t exist in me anymore it is gone. That whole idea of oh I would share some good but I just don’t have enough to give. I would share my time and talents and enthusiasm and my knowing except I just don’t quite have enough to give. Well according to your law it is done unto you because the equivalent of not having enough to give is what, you don’t have enough to give? Do you see this if you claim you don’t have enough to give then according to your law you don’t have enough to give! You cannot receive it either because you can’t give you can’t receive and you get so stuck and you think this god stuff doesn’t work. We cannot be about the business of scaring people to make money that is just crazy. We cannot be about the business of co-creating fear and doubt and expect that were going to get good from it. We have to be about the business of creating good where ever we go. We have to be about the business that knowing that god is the substance and source of my life, God is the substance and source of my life and God is infinite and no matter much good I give out how much good is left to give out? An infinite amount well I’ve got to rise up and we say well is that rising up always about stomping your feet and preaching loud, no this is just the Martin Luther King showing up in me today. But what I say unto you is do not be afraid, do every moment, every second there is a choice between fear and love. In your heart and mind every moment every second there is a choice between fear and love and if every time that fear comes up you return to love you will begin to grow your consciousness and then you can begin to witness your consciousness go in front of you and make the way clear. It begins to happen because something is happening in you and its happening in you because every thought, every word every action every feeling is doing something and you have begun to understand in the cosmos there is no neutral.
I am sorry but the closest that we can get to neutral we did today it’s called “om”. But you see how much clear intent we have to have to create a beautiful Om together. How much clear intent to hear the sound of the dissonance because not all of us sing on key. Not all of us sing on key but there is a concept here and the next week my daughter came into the room and we all “om” together and when she heard all of us together it was a beautiful sound. Now I was part of everyone “om”ing together and this is about dissidence and resonance. You can vibrate off key and when you go out in your life and vibrate off key you notice your life sort of comes out off key. When in a world awakening we realize there is no saint, sage mystic prophet outside of you except the saint’s sage mystic and prophet that lives in me and it’s not in me or in you, it’s in us. I am the light of the world but not without you because when there is more light then we have more light. It is when dissidence joins in in the consciousness of one that resonance emerges. When dissidence joins into the consciousness of one resonance emerges. So you have a choice, you can say I and the father mother god are one, god and I constitute the majority so you have a nice day. And you will notice that you have become very lonely and very afraid and very empty because the Christ the Atman the Buddha the high self awakening in the world is not happening in one person it’s happening in us. And we are the light of the world, we are the place that must rise up to float on the carpet and when someone looks overhead and says oh it looks like a long way down we say don’t worry the carpet just flies. The consciousness of the most high just carries us; we just watch the consciousness of the most high grow each of us in our lives because each one of us takes an idea. You don’t need to know everything we are talking about you don’t need to understand everything that’s being said you need to feel it, you need to take it into your heart. You don’t need to do anything it’s up to you to choose if you would like that choose it. If you would like to be the light of the world choose it, if you would like to be with everyone as they discover the light of the world in every language in every culture everywhere oh you mean it’s not just for one group of people? No it’s for all people and it’s not just for one way of being no it’s for everyone. You mean there is a principal that I can use to free myself from the doubts and the fears in the world yes, but you have got to rise up and you will discover the soul on your left and the soul on your right is helping you rise up because they have chosen to be the light of the world and you have chosen to be the light of the world and now light is calling light into light and the darkness comprehended it not. The darkness has no way to go because there is no opposing power to light there is only the invitation. So each of us now we have the opportunity to recognize that the poet and writer Henry Miller said the moment one gives close attention to anything the moment one gives close attention to anything even a blade of grass it becomes a mysterious awesome indescribable magnificent world in itself. And so what if you look out at the consciousness of humanity, what if your are the one who takes the moment to look at the consciousness of humanity and see a whole new world because I understand that God and God’s creation are one. And anything that god is god’s creation can be and I know god is all love all joy all wisdom all power all magic all miracles all adventure all glory that’s who god is so the moment I give close attention to humanity and say humanity is god I become the light of the world. And its the light that the world is calling for, this is time for the new generation for the new era for the new folks of every age every color every way of being to step into a whole new world because when I’m crystal clear when I’m way up here then the potential of god’s infinite abundance of eternal peace is mine. When I’m way up here god’s infinite abundance and eternal peace is mine and I will hold the high watch until I see and experience a whole new world. It is a wondrous place, its a joyful place, its a glorious place for you and me and my friends it is my honor and privilege to be in this place with you today and I invite you to think on these things and together we explore the possibilities.
