"Giving Sharing and Receiving"

I AM the conquering presence, I command this I AM
presence to govern perfectly my mind, my home, my affairs and my
world.
So reading from Dr. Ernest Holmes to set the stage, Ernest Holmes
the great metaphysician from the last century who wrote the book the
Science of Mind which is a correlation of the laws of science the
opinions of philosophy and the revelations in religion all brought
together to serve the needs of human kind. So we are knowing that
when were talking about the revelations of religion and the opinions
of philosophy and the discoveries in science that were talking about
a time where these things are all coming together. They are coming
together progressively more rapidly and yet we have a challenge. As
I wrote in my book it is so easy when you know how which was
published in 1997 when we published that book we talked about the
fact that quantum science is now the operating principal the highest
level of principal in physics at the moment but yet we still teach
utopian science why, well because we haven’t quite figured out the
implications of living in a whole new order of probability and
possibility. However that doesn’t change the fact that were into
something new. We are into something new in terms of the revelation
of religion, were into something new in terms of the opinions of
philosophy, we are into a whole new energy a whole new possibility.
The confluence of all of the prophesies have all come forward to
this time to say the energy is ripe for change but if you continue
to drag your past into your present, you will continue to affect
your future. If you continue to drag your past into your present,
you are using your past to create your new future. As to opposed to
allowing everything to be new. So even when it comes to the Science
of Mind we recognize the science of mind is about something new
because the laws of science, the opinions of philosophy the
revelations of religion have now brought us to a new place. Now
remind you simple enough we in new thought according to Ernest
Holmes this particular point of view we do two things here, we are
taught about a divine presence and a universal law that reacts to it
and people are taught how to use it. So we know the principle is we
know there is a presence and the principle is there is a presence
that receives the impress of my consciousness and creates. Now in
our old school of thought what we do with that is create all kinds
of “what’s the matter with me stuff”. What’s the matter with your
consciousness you have a sore throat, you are not expressing
yourself. What’s the matter with your back; you have money problems,
what’s the matter with your shoulders you’re taking on the weight of
the world. What’s the matter with your ears you don’t want to hear
something and then we say this is really inspiring teaching! The
reality is there is a whole new way, a whole higher picture of
looking at the consciousness. To look at the principal and the
presence and how to use it and a higher way to look at the principal
and the presence and how to use it is to move from the place of
image and likeness of God that I’m born in. We turn the page of the
text book, the science of mind and it says these things are all true
about the whole. It is a try-union unity, it’s an indivisible whole
within which are all of its parts. The absolute is within the
relative, the uncreated is within that which is created, the changes
are that which are all change. The formless is within that which is
all form, the limitless is within that which is all space, the
timeless is within that which is all time The universal is within
that which is individual. The one person is within all people, the
source and center of all life and power and action is everywhere
present Truth love mind and spirit are all the same, do you feel
better now? You see we know there is a oneness there is a wholeness
there is an undivided wholeness, there is a light waiting for us to
claim it into being and the only way to allow that light to claim in
is to get out of all of these ideas and concepts that separate and
step into the awareness of only one. Hence you see the master
teacher said behold I stand at the door and knock and how long do I
knock? I knock until it is open, I ask until I receive, I seek until
I know, I seek until I find that it is all there waiting but this
old methodology of I cannot ask, I cannot claim, I cannot step into
the fullness of life because I don’t understand it all yet, or I
cannot step into the fullness of light because I have sinned. Sinned
simple means to miss the mark and imagine if all of us can’t claim
the fullness of life because we have sinned, anybody here ever
missed the mark?
We are always seeking to allow the I AM the real nature of myself to
become the experience The real nature of myself to become the
experience and one of the reasons that I support and work with Dee
in all the ways that I do is I have been since 1976 a practicing
metaphysician, a student a orator a teacher and I have lived my life
understanding what it is to be an awakened metaphysician. I have
helped many people move from this plane of existence to other planes
of existence. I have used these principals and I have watched them
work in every kind of life situation and I have watched them work in
every kind of life situation and now I know ok. Harry is a little
slow it took him thirty one years to figure this stuff out but we
don’t have to do it slow and we don’t have to do it waiting for the
kingdom to arrive. We do have to shift if we want to experience
something new, we will have to create something new, and we have to
come from a new place to create it And the highest place to create
it is from your preexisting God head because at the end of the day
your going to see the face of God and your going to find out your
whole complete and perfect and your going to say why didn’t I know
that and your going to say oh I did know that I just forgot to live
that way. I forgot to claim it that way, I forgot to live my life
from the place where I really know and so the reason that I love
working with Dee is because her work, her commitment, her faith in
the I AM presence and her willingness to call upon it and it alone
as the operating authority is a joy to behold and it changes the
lives of anyone else who will claim that same kind of I AM. So here
today’s title is giving, sharing and receiving and I will get out of
the way and let Dee take the floor, but here is where I am at with
this. When I came back from the five day ministers lock down I
realized something I already knew and that what we are practicing
here, what we are opening up to is the presence of the third one. It
is allowing the I AM to be who I am in the world and yes we fall
short and we all have our humanness and we need to pick ourselves up
and we need to continue to reframe ourselves and that is growing and
growing is good but we came out of our spirit of home and we talked
all the things about money and giving, the principal is there we all
know the principal but I had this idea and I look forward to the day
when we will say we will have a pledge dinner but the truth about
pledging is to be able to look into your new year, to look into the
year that is not even here and claim how much of your good your
going to give away. Claiming how much of your good you’re going to
give away, that is claiming in advance the amount of good you’re
going to give away because you know you’re going to have that much
good right? And what happens in the normal human condition is we go,
oh they are asking for money? No were not asking for money in a
pledge. In a pledge I am asking you to give something to yourself. I
am asking you to give something to yourself, to give in advance of
receiving your good the amount your going to give away and I felt so
good to literally sit down and write down the number dear God I’m
giving this much away to inspiration this year and the year is not
here yet and I do not have a dollar one of those dollars, but I know
it is what I’m going to give away because my good is coming to me
because I’m claiming it in the presence of the I AM and this is what
we are sharing and if we could come into this place where we could
really share our knowing about our good with another, really sharing
what would be possible how much would we receive so to continue with
the subject of giving and sharing and receiving is Dee Wallace
I invite everybody to energetically stand with me today in directing
the I AM that you are to ignite within yourself for the rest of your
life. I think that we are a little confused about who we are as the
I AM. Giving sharing and receiving automatically suggests
participation between energy. You can’t give and you can’t receive
and you can’t receive by yourselves even to yourself giving sharing
and receiving is an exchange of energy. So that means that all
energy gets to participate which brings us back to what Science
knows and you learned in fifth grade that were all energy.
Everything is energy God, Buddha, Atman, Universal love, highest
self whatever term you put on it is all one energy which means were
all God. Can’t have any separation and have the rules of science
apply at the same time so if I’m God and your God and everyone you
look at and meet is God then who is in charge of defining how God
works in our world? The buck has to stop here. As opposed to saying
come on in spirit fill me up I would like you to shift your
perspective a little bit and go within and say alright the God that
I am come alive. The God that I am, I’m going to direct in my life
to be the definition of the energy of God that I want to put back
out into the world. Touch your heart center quietly and say I AM, I
am love, I am the creative force, I am a messenger of God, and I am
God. And so if we are all God we are giving ourselves choice as to
how to define the God that we are. Here is us the spirit source
already inside and were not asking anything to come in, were asking
ourselves to remember and feel and experience the I AM the God that
we already are, to ignite that in our lives and in this world. So we
have the creative force that is our self. It is really interesting
because I never got this before we read this today but I brought it
up because I was told I would explain this to you I am the
conquering presence and it goes on to say I command this I AM
presence So I am commanding my own God presence to govern perfectly
my mind, home, affairs in the world and I’m not giving it to
somebody else. I’m not saying somebody out there come in do this for
me, fill me up and bring me some money, and show me the money, I’m
not saying that to any body outside myself then because I am the
presence and I am directing the presence to create me. It puts a
whole new spin on God helps him who helps himself. God helps him/her
who helps direct myself and that happens because we were given
choice but the only way that choice works is if we consciously and I
underline consciously, consciously choose what we want and
consciously choose to direct the energy to create that for us. I am
equals the choice of consciously choosing. I am reading from the
book the I am discourse this book changed my life because no body
ever taught me that I had to be the energy that I was hoping was
going to do something for me in my life and I sure did not direct
the energy that was blasphemy. Again let us repeat that mankind
having free will are commanded to choose how they shall direct this
energy. If they do not direct it consciously for some good
constructive purpose it will act in some manner often through the
suggestion of the environment or other individuals, because energy
is always subject to suggestion. Not is it ok, you have to do it,
you have to command the presence, you have to give it direction
otherwise you know what happens your family comes for Thanksgiving
dinner and if your not consciously directing the energy you get
involved in all of the dramas You take it personally when one third
of the people are late and not honoring you. I will tell you how
else it looks like in our society now especially in LA It looks like
the writers strike and I say to you those of you who are involved in
our industry and there are many of us in this congregation, how many
of you are directing what you want and what’s is it really about,
it’s about the lack of honor for other people’s energy and so what
happens is many of us started getting involved in the very vibration
of the energy that we wanted to heal. It also looks like since we
are a congregation of spirit works how much are you honoring the
exchange of energy that you get here from this community It is all
the same thing and you’re seeing it everywhere and it started with
Enron and it is trickling down and it’s the old energy trying to
live in the new energy and it doesn’t work anymore. Where are we
going to stand up and say no more, everything new? The creative
force you see doesn’t judge, it doesn’t choose, it doesn’t
manipulate and it doesn’t create without somebody’s direction. So if
you are not consciously, consciously saying I am directing the
energy this way the world happens and it takes you with it. It just
sweeps you off your feet and you go, why me, why did it happen to
me, why can’t I and I’m saying because your not being the God that
you are and directing the energy in a conscious way. Our guidance,
our direction every time you say I am your I am-ing the universe!
You are indicating this is what I want, this is my direction, I’m
fat, I’m tired, I’m broke I AM except it is not out there it’s in
here. Can you know and stand with me today that you and the creative
force, universal love, God, highest spirit whatever term you want to
put on it, are the same. I am directing the creative force, the God
that I am when ever you say I am your doing that and it will create
for you whatever you focus and claim. Whether it is conscious,
whether it’s unconscious so if your focus on anything that your in
fear of, judgmental towards or unforgiving of, your going to create
more of that in your life. What is happening to most of us is that
were so unconsciously creating that we know what we want and we
sort, of kind of live in that but were not taking any active
direction and therefore we get some of what we want and a whole lot
of what we don’t. Or are you creating on I am loving, I am
celebrating, I am forgiving, I am peaceful, and how many I am’s of
those are we sending out? How many people are willing to stand up
and claim the I AM? Close your eyes and open your hearts and go to a
place anywhere a rainbow a child a pet a mate to just open your
heart and put your hands up not to touch the spirit outside of you
but to celebrate the spirit inside of you and lets say I AM love, I
AM peace, I AM abundance, I AM giving, I AM sharing, I AM receiving,
I AM God the creative force, I love myself. If we can stand as a
community and as individual’s everyday of our lives loving and
celebrating and honoring ourselves and directing the energy to bring
us everyone that honors and love and celebrates us, we are our own
hero’s God created us that way and I am loving you all.
So here is the thought and you may take the thought with you as
homework unless that scares you in which case you may take the
thought with you as a loving thought to nurture along the way. Our
friend who I will not see until the big picnic Ernest Holmes and I
look forward to seeing everyone but I have miles to go before I
sleep. Ernest Holmes said this great line he said we do not put the
power in the prayer, we take the power out. We do not put the power
in the prayer, we take the power out so we will pray in a couple of
minutes for our own abundance for our own opulence and then for all
the healing in the field, the revelation of wholeness. On Sunday
mornings I meditate for about an hour and then I look at things that
I have been working on and then after that I talk to two other
ministers and we pray together and when I get here to the sanctuary
and who ever is here we pray in the sanctuary and we go downstairs
and then we pray downstairs and then some gather in my office and we
pray in there and then why would we pray so much? The answer is
because we take the power out of the prayer, we don’t put the power
in, and we take the power out of the prayer. In other words when we
vibe up into the I AM consciousness, when we get our vibration to
raise ourselves to that level of knowing and then claim that into a
form a form of a prayer or an I AM statement we then have set that
energy in motion and the energy now we take the energy out of that
which is already been set in motion. It’s already being done to us
through us and so when you pray this week in whatever your prayer
is, however you are working on your prayer, and we are of course
teaching affirmative five step prayer here but as you work on your
prayer don’t finish the prayer until you have something in there
that you can take out of there. So pray our I AM prayer, pray your
identification prayer and don’t finish the prayer until you know
there is something in there for you to take out of there because we
do not put the power in the prayer, we take the power out of the
prayer, we let the I am presence do the work by means of what we
have claimed, by means of what we have affirmed, by means of the I
AM that we have ignited within ourselves. So we are going to pray
and when we pray feel the energy in prayer and then allow yourself
to receive all week long the energy from the prayer, the energy will
go in and you take the energy out.
So my friends today we are working on a new level of giving, sharing
and receiving and it is a step into the consciousness of wow.
Everybody in this hall knows their God self, everybody is yearning
for a deeper level of God self, for a deeper call on that God self
but that deeper call will bring forth a deeper answer and you really
put in a deeper call I want the I am as it actually is in all that
is my life and from that deeper call something we can pull out of
that deeper call and that which we put in and all if taken place
within the I AM that I AM. So today this Sunday marks the beginning
of the season of light. The beginning of the time of year that we go
into outward darkness to discover inner light. Let us use this
season, let us use this time of year, let us use the symbols all
around us, and let us use everything that we can draw out from that
which we have put in. Each one of you is a light worker, everyone is
a light worker and all we need to do to get more light is to ask
your I AM presence to make you an open door to the light of the
world. The world needs your light and I celebrate your presence and
I celebrate that together we may think on these things and explore
the possibilities...........
