"Co-Join, Co-Mingle & Entwine"

Today’s lesson is called co-join, co-mingle and
entwined and the idea emerges from a physical happening which I
shared with you a little last week. There are a couple of stories
around the physical happening and for those not familiar with that
word that means something happening in the physical world. The
physical happening is about the reunification and we can look at
that physical happening in an organizational reunification and look
at it in our own lives and understand that we are about
reunification that our very lives are about reunification. They are
about a reunification with the self of our self without knowing who
we are, and what we are and understanding ourselves as a spiritual
being and unify with that higher aspect of our selves and drawing
that high self into our world and into our experience and into our
body and into what is ultimately the body of our lives. So the
interesting thing about that is what we see is that all of it, all
of the unification is still happening on the upward forward
progressive spiral of life that we call evolution. The upward
forward progressive spiral of life and what I know is last week is
that we brought forth something challenging. A little challenging to
the soul because the soul is so use to knowing itself as a person.
We are so use to identifying ourselves as a person when in truth
what I am is much more than a person. I am a person like the great
teacher Roy Eugene Davis says I am an immortal spiritual being, I am
an immortal spiritual being and he says superior to my mind to my
body and to my experience. And yet so often we identify with the
body, with the person hood of who we are instead of identifying with
the I AM an immortal spiritual being. Do you see the statement I am
an immortal spiritual being isn’t denying anything, it is not saying
you don’t have a mind, it is not saying you don’t have a body it is
not saying you don’t have a persona but what it says is I am is more
than all of those things. I am all of those things and so much more
and we call that rising up in the upward forward spiral, we call
that rising up ascending, the process of ascension. There is a shift
going on in the very field of consciousness it is a shift going on
in the way to go about being a human being because we are finding
the old way of running into each others boundaries and colliding
with each other in order to grow is not working. Now look at your
own life today and do you not see that during the course of your
life you have had collisions and if you look back at your life yes
those collisions helped you to grow. At the time they didn’t feel
good, they were uncomfortable, they are not what you meant but in
the end they helped you to grow because up until now that’s been the
way we have been progressing. Let me move along fine, let me create
some friction and then out of that new heat I’ll birth something
different. And every time we are in the heat we go oh I did not want
that and why do I have to grow by the two by four school and then we
say oh now I get it. Isn’t it possible to grow by a natural higher
order of progression, by a natural law of love calling itself up to
a higher place? And of course the answer is yes, and as a matter of
fact if we look at the definition of the word “yes” it means it is
so. And if the universe is offering a yes then you realize whatever
it is that you are creating, the universe says yes. The universe
says you need some more friction, you say I need more friction to
grow and the universe says yes. You say I want to grow by simply
claiming a larger territory the universe says yes. You say you want
to stay in the river where the rocks are the universe says yes. You
say I want to expand and become the whole river and I want to live
myself in the flow of the river where there is nothing but joy,
magnificence and glory and the universe says yes. And we have to
shift out of that well in order to shift out of that that means
something has to change and that’s the part we don’t like.
We say well I want every part of life that is in trouble or pain to
change but I want every part that is moving where I like it to stay
the same. River I want you to flow through me but only certain parts
of me. And this of course is where we run into our challenge because
everything is related to everything else. Everything is co-mingled,
intertwined and engaged everything and so it is only when we look at
the universe understanding that we are a butterfly and in this case
the butterfly that changes everything, I am the place of perception
that can look at things differently and by means of my having a
different perception create a different reality because we
understand, the observer affects the outcome yes? So as soon as you
start to observe differently, as soon as you become the butterfly
and as we have pointed out you are much more than a butterfly for
you are recreated in the image and likeness of God and your given
the gift of consciously know who you are. To wake up and recognize
that I am what that is and that is what I am and therefore I am the
one who can know within it and here is the big shift. Were so use to
a God dear god heavenly father in the sky above if you find me
worthy in this day, if you could beseech little me to change my life
and I love the part in the series and could I have a new car and I
recognize that I’m just and you are so big up there God that we
recognize from that point of view that I am so small down here. And
that God that says because god yes is yes, the god that says I am in
the sky and you are a lonely little creature on the earth will say
what to your yes? If you want to be lonely little creature, God will
say yes, you want to know yourself as unworthy in the mind of God ok
God says yes. And were at a shift that says well if God is
everything and God is all energy and I am energy and God is all
matter and I am matter and God is all consciousness and I am
consciousness well then there is no longer a god in the sky. God is
no longer in the sky god is here now, god is everywhere present and
we call it omnipresent. God is all knowing, omniscient, all knowing
knows all things and where is the God, touch yourself and say I AM
that. We are talking major shift and the little self who grew up in
the school of the big god in the sky and every time it goes to claim
new ground its still has somewhere in the physic the belief that I
hope I’m not claiming the wrath of God as I go forward . I know Dr.
Harry says I am god but really God I am the one avoiding lighting
bolts. All happening within the lower subconscious level of our
awareness and so when we call that out, when we say no, no, that’s
an old thought and by your holding onto that you are bound by that
thought and we say release that thought, let it go allow yourself to
rise up, allow yourself to be part of the natural orderly process of
ascension but the little self says but then I’ll have to change, I
will have to become something else and so this is how it came out in
the lesson.
My wife knows Michael Beckwith and a long time ago Michael and his
wife and I were laying on the lawn looking up at the sky together
just the four of us and we were chatting telling stories while
watching the clouds roll by and Michael tells this story of how his
ministry really began to unfold when he got everyone to adopt “yes”.
When everyone started to say yes, when they put it in the air and
created buttons and everyone started to say yes and that yes in the
collective field of consciousness began to congeal something in
agopy. So for all these years my wife has been holding onto this
idea of the power of yes and so I gave her a CD from last Sunday’s
talk the reciprocal yes. Now are we on track with the reciprocal
yes? So go to what is a fifty year healing a space in time where a
fifty year dysfunction healing happened within the Holmes school of
thought because within the Holmes school of thought meaning Ernest
Holmes the great metaphysician from the last century and all of the
ideas that he brought forth, the primary basis of everything Holmes
is there is only one. There is only one, one power, one life, one
truth, one law, one love, one joy, one consciousness, only one and
then we in our human-ness took that one and said I don’t agree with
your interpretation of the one and I’m going to do it my way because
I am god and so for fifty years we have been doing the one in two
different ways. So we do this conversation last week the reciprocal
yes and I show up at the conference and the facilitator for the
conference she has written a book and she is giving the book away
and what does the book say, the book’s title is called the sacred
yes. I think that is interesting God I think I am suppose to read
this book and I will take it. I am at the conference and I am there
in one big giant yes and I am supporting the yes at every level that
I know how and some minister comes up to me and hands me my book and
wants the book autographed. I have your book and I listen to your
talks on line and I would just love if this is my autographed book
and so I autographed her book and she hands me a pen and she says
thank you and off she goes and I look at the table where I am
sitting and she has left her pen and I pick the pen up and written
on the pen the universe always yes.
I don’t know how to do these things and so I noticed something last
week and this is related to the CD that I gave my wife to listen to.
She said she loved the CD and I loved the yes part and the gain
sounds like a laundry detergent and you remember last week that I
had to work with us and I said we had to say yes and everyone said
yes and you could feel the vibration of the yes. Now when we threw
the word gain, every one was confused now why and what is the shift
that is going on and what is relevant to us, everything that is go
joined co-mingled and entwined and everything the highest realms the
lowest realms, the highest thought the lowest realms and everything
in between is co-joined, co-mingled and entwined and was found by
one principal the same principal the principal of law the principal
of consciousness rising to its own level mimicked by water which
rises to its own level according to its own height. Consciousness
rises to its own level according to its own interest. It is a
perfect law and it works perfectly all the time and yet the shift
has happened because we would say I want to grow according to the
big God in the sky but then the self knows the big god in the sky is
the god in me and I cannot get to the big god in the sky in any
other way except through me, do you see it? How are you going to
know God personally in the immediate sense in any other way except
through yourself? How would you know, if you don’t know how would
you know that you know? Do you see that if I’m going to know God, if
I am going to know the experience of the activity of God the law of
creation and how it works I am going to have to know it in myself?
So now God has finally through billions of years of evolution I am
that God has finally said do you see that I am one? Do you see that
I am one and that therefore the activity of the I AM can only happen
in one place, touch yourself and say I AM that’s the place. That is
the only place that it can happen is in you, it’s the only place
that can happen in you. So there is something that we would call the
wholeness principal and the wholeness principal is in this upward
forward progressive spiral it finishes one thing and then spirals on
to the next thing. It finishes that thing and then spirals onto the
next thing and you can notice it in your house
For example I don’t know if this has happened in your experience but
have you notice that in two or three days you leave your clothes
around and the house is a mess and so your soul comes up with the
idea I have got to clean my house and so your soul makes sure that
you house gets clean and have you noticed if there are still dishes
in the sink even though your house is clean, your house is not clean
anymore why, because your house is not complete. This is something
that we feel in our experience when you go and put those dishes in
the dishwasher and now you look at your house and go oh that feels
complete? So long as it’s undone it doesn’t want to spiral up, it
wants to hold at the place where ever it is undone. So here is where
I was with this.
We talked about co-joined-co-mingled and we talk about this event
that happened where the two organizations emerged from one teaching
discovered that they were one and what was necessary over fifty
years of debate of this subject was for a critical mass to get to
yes. It is always necessary was for a critical mass to get to the
yes we are one and once the yes is clear and once everybody says yes
to the yes do you see that we may not know what the details are. We
don’t know how one ministry is going to play with another ministry
and we don’t know all those details yet but what we do know is you
and I are one and we say yes to that and once we say yes to that all
the details have to follow. They will have their own time and
process and law of growth but right now all the details have to
follow once there is a yes. Once there is a critical mass in the yes
the details have to follow.
So here is what is happening have you noticed that when you are
asking for guidance, when you ask your high self for guidance have
you noticed that the only guidance you’re getting is whatever you
want? That the universe is saying back to you, I don’t know what do
you want? God I want humanity to be at peace and to be at joy and
the Christmas season to be a universal gift for all of humanity and
God says ok, that’s the way you should walk your Christmas, that’s
the way you should live your holidays, the universe said yes. Well
God I want my career to work out perfectly and I want the freedom to
let go and I want joy to be in the field and the universe says yes.
Does god want us to have a spirit work orchestra say yes and then it
begins to move, it begins to unfold as soon as we get a yes. So all
of a sudden we recognize that this was what I was looking for all
week I ended up after participating in these meetings and college
Roberta Winn from Oregon and David Alexander was down and we had
some work to do with the Association of Global new Thought yet
another organization doing good work in the field in the name of the
one, in the name of the I AM and so we did some important and
powerful work with them so I knew I was going to be in this
reconciliation meeting and I knew I was going to support that yes
and I know I was going to this other meeting and I was going to say
yes and I knew there was something greater going on and I was saying
yes to the something greater going on and at the whole time I knew I
was going to talk to you on Sunday morning about this idea of
co-mingle and intertwined. Seeing things as they actually are and so
where do I end up Saturday night already on the calendar placed
there by my wife. We go to see a show called long days journey into
night and I am in the first act and watching the performances and
all I can think about is God I don’t know what I’m suppose to say to
everyone tomorrow. I have been working on it all week my beloved, I
have been in part of all of this all week and I don’t have the
answer yet and it has been one long day’s journey into that night
and so I have an alter and I encourage you to create an alter. To
create an alter an alter for what an alter for those things that
represent to you the power and the grace and the magnificence and
the glory of the living spirit and it can be many things. For Ram
Dass he had Jesus on one side and his guru on the other side and
Bill Clinton and Bob Dole and he was drawing inspiration from
everybody in the field. You can make an alter anyway that you want
and my alter is personal to me so and so I don’t stay for the second
act why because I don’t know what I mean by co-mingled and
intertwined. I have been doing it I have been participating and
living it but I don’t know how to give it to you and I don’t know
what it means yet. You understand that what I do here is not about
what I say it’s about what you get. It is about what you get and I
have only one mission is to give you something every Sunday I want
to give you something that you can use in your life that can be
valuable and here is my long day’s journey into night and I don’t
have it. So I look at my alter and the wonderful thing about life no
matter how you draw forth the spirit of life is its responds to you
by corresponding to you. It will always respond to you by
corresponding to you so guess what happens when you ask for help?
You get help but the universe waits for us to ask so finally I said
I have to go home and meditate and pray and this has to come
together now. So I turned to my alter as I ’m going to bed and I
said I surrender all of this to you and your going to have to give
me some answers and I need some help. This morning at 5:20 I opened
my eyes and here comes the answer and spirit says to me God and
God’s creation are one. Meaning what is God’s creation going to
create and you are God’s creation, what are you going to create? So
here is the new deal that the God in the sky doesn’t know, not even
the God in the sky knows what God’s creation is going to create
because the place where what’s God’s creation is going to create is
in me, its in you, its in the I AM that is in each and everyone of
us and we are deciding what were going to create. So where does all
of this all come down to in the theme of our yes.
The song was you lift me up when do you lift me up, when I call on
you to lift me up. When will I become joyously creative, when I
decide to be joyously creative? When will my yes mean a gain when I
decide that my yes means a gain and if I cannot see that the only
way for God’s creation to advance is through God’s creation then I
will be stuck right there. If I can see that the only way for God’s
creation to advance is for me to advance, can you see then that
you’re claiming gain is not selfish, it’s Godlike. In the room last
week that resistance came up to I don’t think it’s appropriate for
me to be concerned about my own gain. That thought got in there
about the time of the dinosaurs and it’s about done. Its shelf life
is not serving you anymore The way in the upward forward progressive
spiral to advance is to claim the territory and from that new of
territory claim more territory and from that new place claim yet
more territory. How much of that river am I entitled to take up and
if I take up a vast amount of that river, and carry with me a vast
amount of joy and love and harmony and abundance and creation and
artistry and song and music and dance and caring, if I carry a vast
amount of that with me how much is left? All of it God’s creation
can only advance by means of its creation and God can only claim new
territory and the upward forward progressive spiral in its creation
as we claim the territory in our lives. So we want to say “yes” to
the infinite and we want to say to our own soul gain, claim more
territory, carry more water, and bring more light. Be an instrument
for yet more love, be a place where more song can emerge and more
dance can happen where more creativity can live, where more laughter
is born. I am that yes gain and every time you see it coming to you
and you say yes, don’t just say yes but take the yes as a new place
where the dishes are finished and your ready to spiral up higher
still, do you understand where the dishes are finished I’ve
completed that, claim the territory and claim moving higher still.
There is no limit to the good you can have in your life, there is no
limit to the good that you can have in your life and the best way to
advance that good is to advance it every where. So yes you claim it
for yourself and yes you allow it for others Yes you got the great
inspiration so yes you gain and yes Lorie has the consciousness to
grab the truth from the either’s and she gains and so you want to
affirm the gain of your consciousness that can perceive the instant
truth and draw forth in words and you want to take a yes to your
consciousness that can write a song that has meaning and touches the
lives of others. You want to say yes to your consciousness that can
call forth the creativity that brings forth their gifts and creation
and you want to say yes and from that new yes let us gain because
the more light we have the more light we bring into the world. The
more good we attract the more we empower others to attract good in
their world. The more love we have the more we empower others to
love in the world. The more we free ourselves from our bound up
ideas of a bolt throwing God the freer we are in God. God is no
longer giving us guidance God is asking for guidance from you this
is how much you are loved and respected and adored and cared for by
God that God itself is asking you for guidance in creation and I say
in this family let us be the ones who say yes gain and today touch
your heart and fill with your willingness to stand in the glory of
God in God, as God and for all of God and for all of creation let us
say together “yes gain”.
My friends I invite you to think upon these things and in the wake
of your love to overflow this sanctuary beginning next Sunday. The
time is ours the world is ours we are God’s creation, creating and
we say yes let us gain.
I invite you to think on these things and together let us explore
the possibilities.
