"It's All Natural"

The title of today’s lesson is it's all natural and
the sub-heading to that lesson is faster than a speeding electron.
So I want to begin with a quote from Billy Wilder the famous British
director who made some very American films. He says anyone who
doesn’t believe in miracles isn’t a realist. We certainly know in
the motion picture industry when you have to capture moments on film
and try to translate writings from a script onto the screen and
bring all of that art together. We know that when art shows up it is
always a miracle it is always magic and it is always something
spectacular in real art. So what were interested in is what is it in
our lives that can open us to the consciousness of miracles and when
we start to look deeper in terms of what’s happening in our lives
and I always love the line by Albert Einstein who says there are two
ways of looking at the world one is if everything is a miracle and
the other is nothing is a miracle, and that’s a choice as to which
way do you want to see the world. When we hear the kind of
information that we shared in our reading of how many billions and
millions of things need to happen for dreams to be realized. All
dreams coming true is a miracle, it’s an enfoldment of principal but
if you look at the dictionary definition of miracle is an event that
appears unexplainable according to the laws of nature, therefore
deemed supernatural or an act of God. An event that appears
unexplainable according to the laws of nature therefore deemed
supernatural or an act of God. So I remind you since it is all God
then it’s all a miracle, everything is a miracle because we live in
the miracle of being able to and it was William James the great
American psychologist who says the most significant understanding of
human beings of all time he said this in the early nineteen
hundred’s he said the most significant understanding of all times is
human beings can alter the experience of their lives by altering
their attitude of mind. That we can alter the experience of our
lives by altering our attitude of mind. So what we now know and what
the new science’s have been revealing is that every atomic and
sub-atomic particle and every wave of life in the whole of creation,
every atomic and sub-atomic particle and every wave of life that is
before particles, there are waves every atomic and sub-atomic
particle and wave of life in the whole of creation is interrelated,
interdependent and interconnected. So what we really begin to see is
this idea that there is something unexplainable according to the
laws of nature is not understanding that the only thing that really
changes our understanding of the laws of nature, not the miracles
themselves. If in the seventeen hundreds you brought a flash light
into the room they would have burned you at the stake. And you would
say no it’s just batteries and a light cell but that outside of time
would have been absolutely miraculous. See once we understand the
higher law this is the line that Ernest Holmes the great
metaphysician from the last century said. He said once a law is
understood that which seems supernatural once it is rightly
understood is totally natural. Once we understand it its totally
natural and what we don’t understand it it looks like a miracle.
So this is the normal law of growth and we have talked about this
before but let’s look at it and see where because I know we just
finished the series and the last series said that the ultimate place
of work is the chalice of freedom. And you know how the monkey mind
that is those neurotic thought patterns meaning they repeat
themselves automatically, that is where the neuroses part comes in
they just happen automatically, those neurotic thought patterns love
to tell you that your not ready for a miracle or that you don’t
understand. As my beloved friend would say “what is step one”. When
in truth and this is what I have been saying to us collectively
don’t let your monkey mind direct your life because you know that
its not about what is step one. That consciousness creates
experience and consciousness is a fluid reality and consciousness is
always changing all according to what I am doing with my freedom,
very I’m placing my attitudes of mind. It is always a function not
of where do I begin but what is the sum total of my consciousness
and what is it showing me now and what do I mean now. And sometimes
these are little mundane adjustments and sometimes they are profound
adjustments but its paying attention to what we mean in our
experience
So I will give you a quick side bar as to paying attention to what
we mean.
For a few years the only glasses that I needed to see clearly, not
to see but to see clearly and the only glasses that I needed to see
clearly were reading glasses and over the course of the last four
years that has changed and so I got use to putting my cheap ten
dollar or less reading glasses in my pocket and I love boats in the
water and on more than one occasion I would bend down to get a line
or do something and my glasses would fall out of my pocket and into
the water and so we try to be mindful to not loose glasses in the
water. So when they fall down you are either going swimming deeper
than you want to dive or you lose the glasses right? Now those
glasses are not ten dollars and so I don’t want to have the
experience of remembering when you bend down the glasses will fall
out and that is not what I mean. Do you see how you can clarify in
your own life by having an action happen that’s not what you mean
and see it clearly that that is not what you mean? But then you have
to adjust and you say that’s not what I mean, what I mean is I
always put my glasses someplace safe. So now when I get on the boat
I put my glasses inside on the helm where I know where they are and
I know they are safe because most of the time in that kind of
environment I don’t need the glasses to see things so why put them
in my pocket where they are in danger. But do you see they will keep
falling in the water if who has to change? Was God punishing me
because my glasses were in my pocket, do you see it is a law of
gravity, there is a principal engaged? It is always a principal
which is there to show us because, touch yourself and say I AM, I AM
dominion . See you are dominion because that has already been given
to you; you have dominion because it has already been given. Not
just by the Western scriptures but by every scripture and by
demonstration. We know for sure that we have dominion and so in
order to take advantage of dominion we have to constantly adjust not
push or fight natural laws but work with them. It is a good idea not
to resist the environment your in. So if it’s all natural and
everything is a function of everything being interrelated and
interconnected and we already know that then what we really know is
there is this idea that something is happening that’s outside or
unexplainable by natural law means we simply haven’t understood the
law yet.
So here is where the motivation for this talk came from and here is
where I want you to remember no matter what I am talking about today
the ground work, the place where I do the work is within the context
of my own freedom. I have to make the choices because I am free to
make the choices. Now the universe abhors a vacuum, you have heard
that statement before yes? What is the meaning of that statement the
universe abhors a vacuum, well let me simply it for you. We know the
universe doesn’t like, cannot stand, will not tolerate a vacuum and
what it will do with any vacuum is as soon as it exists it will seek
to fill it. So here is what were learning now what we know is if I
do not enter into the chalice of freedom and make the choices in my
own life, if I don’t do that the universe according to natural laws,
to principal will fill the vacuum with any other conscious thought
that’s around. If you don’t give it one, its’ will take the nearest
one to it. Because the universe cannot stand for that vacuum and so
we now realize that we put into that chalice of freedom things that
we do not mean. War and poverty and fear and doubt and you get my
idea, things that we do not mean unless you are loving that stuff.
So we now know that we have to become conscious and how then do we
shift because here is the truth.
This in in our book Keys to Wisdom two which we publish at the
center, this is the anatomy of the miracle, the spontaneous
appearance of that which was already given, this is the anatomy of a
miracle the spontaneous appearance of that which was already given
but unavailable to you until the moment you could receive. So as
soon as I am willing to receive a deeper and higher miracle then the
miracle will be manifest but since miracles are a function of how
much room I have to receive, how much is in my consciousness and now
I will pause for a moment this is from the book the answer. This
book is written in two major sections and really the first 85 pages
are some of the most powerful material that has ever been compiled
in one place ever. Now it is missing what I would call a spiritual
overtone which for example the book the Science of Mind by Ernest
Holmes will be and is already in its less than one hundred years in
exists already establishing itself as a classic in human archives of
intelligence because it is a spiritually orientated book . The
answer is much more a scientifically oriented book but his premise
is that we live in a spiritual system. So it is not going to have
what I would call the texture and depth and color like the book the
Science of Mind which vibrates with spirituality, but it does have
information that is profound and here is his closing statement on
the whole subject of all of the science that he covers in this book
and this is neuron science and the science of psychology and the
science of quantum mechanics and it is Hugh level of scientific
information available in this small book. Here is the conclusion
everything in the physical world is made out of atoms. Atoms are
made out of energy and energy is made out of consciousness. Now my
conclusion is CIE, consciousness is everything so if we now know
that consciousness is everything how do I move myself into the
consciousness of miracles? And here is where the faster than the
speeding electron came from. So what we now know in quantum science
and keep it simple quantum simply means units smaller than an atom
and if we go to ninth grade introductory physical science class we
were taught that the universe is made up of atoms and atoms are
composed of other components which are protons, neutrons and
electrons and the smallest of those particles is electrons so we are
interested in electrons for the moment. Here is what we have learned
no longer as theory when it was developed in the 1940’s it was
theorized we did not have electronic accelerators in the capacity to
take pictures and watch what happens back in those days but now we
do and have and this is demons ratable. The theory of quantum
mechanics is that the observer affects the outcome of any
experiment. The one looking at it affects what will happen. William
James forty years before quantum science ever appeared in the field
he said the greatest discovery of this or any generation is that
human beings can alter the experience in their lives by altering
their attitude of mind. The same conclusion, do you see the observer
affects the outcome. Exactly the same conclusion from different
places in the understandings of the laws of science. Because that
which is today’s super natural once it is understood is totally
natural.
So here is an interesting thing when I was a kid my grandparents had
a home in Martha’s Vineyard island so after I was born I started
flying across the country in the summertime to go to the vineyard. I
was good at math up until algebra two after that level they left me
but I learned the formula distance equals rate times time. So now
that means if you have any two of those three things you can figure
out the other simple mathematical formula and here is something
interesting for us as metaphysicians because what we now know and we
have proven this in several different kinds of experiments is that
since that electron is a wave, its a potential before it becomes an
actuality, before it becomes a material thing. So the wave in
potential doesn’t actually become spot able until it becomes a
particle but we can see it as a wave before it becomes a particle
and then we see it as a particle. The interesting thing is they have
been looking and trying and this is all going to reveal itself more
and more over the next twenty years we will get more and more
science around this but the point is that what they have noticed is
before its a particle, it seems to have the capacity to be in two
places at once which defies all of the physical laws that we
understand, but yet it happens Once of the ways that we see this in
the physical world is that they have done this experiment with
salvia. They take salvia and measure the electrical current in
salvia and then they take the person for whom salvia it was and they
send him on an airplane four hundred miles away and the moment an
experience that is joyful or frightening happens to that soul four
hundred miles away at the very same moment it shows up in the
salvia, four hundred miles away. Meaning there is no distance well
then since distance equals rate times time how does that work? In
the field of potentiality it’s not subject to the physical rules of
the fastest speed that we know is the speed of light that is in
physical reality that is in particles. Particles cannot go faster
than the speed of light, potentials are not limited because
potentials have no distance, they have no rate and they have no
time. Potential can happen all at once so as metaphysicians we
already know this We already know there is only one thing happening
here, its God. God is all there is and then God individualizes
itself in order to express itself in time and space, to know itself
as individualized remember the word individualized actually means
not dividable. So it is undividable from everything happening at
once, its still part of the everything that is happening at once but
it is playing itself out in the little parable call distance equals
rate times time. Where there is time and distance and space over on
this side but not in the Meta reality. So what we know is that the
miracles and this is how it works in our regular lives.
In our regular lives out here as we are playing it out in time and
space in our regular lives we have a problem and we discuss the
problem and we meditate the problem, we cogitate the problem, we
look at the problem until we find a solution we have an answer. The
problem what do we do, problem question is the next thing answer,
still not going to do anything. We have the problem and we have a
question and we have an answer and then how do we get it to work and
the answer is action right? So it’s problem, question, answer action
and we grown steadily up the spiral problem, question, answer,
action and I am aspiring to my Christ consciousness to my
enlightened Buddha awareness to my naphtha soul self I am aspiring
to that by means of this path. Problem, question answer, action do
you see how far it is from here to there? If I stay in physical
reality, touch yourself and say I AM. What you are is more than
physical reality, what you are is consciousness actualized in
physical reality, what I am is consciousness and consciousness is
not subjected to D=RT. Nor is consciousness subject to problem
question answer action, consciousness can do that do you see it is
among the field of possibilities to just being busy growing. You can
do that and at the end of your life you can get a tombstone
dedicated to your growing toward what end? To the end of being in
tune with all that I am, towards the end of being a miracle worker
wherever I go, toward the end of watching the spontaneous movement
of atoms and particles moving according to my intention wherever I
go.
Now based on your current pattern problem how are you doing, do you
see that your current problem and as soon as you get to a moment
where you have no problem you go freeze it there and then the nature
of life is no were not staying. So if you stay there that answer is
not going to hold because life is moving because there is no
stability in anything stable. We just think oh if I could just get
my portfolio to there, nope that is not going to work because there
is no stability in anything stable and what’s the conclusion of our
author. He says everything in the physical world is made of atoms,
atoms are made of energy and energy is made of consciousness So
which comes first what always come first consciousness always comes
first and consciousness is not bound by either the law of
progressive growth or the law of light. Consciousness is everything
all at once, always and you apply your consciousness in the physical
reality. And what is always happening is your consciousness is
showing up in physical reality. And then we look at our
consciousness and we say how many pairs of five hundred dollar
glasses am I going to dump into the ocean and the answer in my mind
is none. I am going to adjust now and before it was no big deal only
ten dollars and that is not what I mean any more because you know
its not just money now it is time and energy and effort, it’s a
whole deal and so one has to adjust constantly in one’s life to
accept that miracles could happen.
So here is where we get to creation is the manifestation of an
invisible intelligence and power and law. It’s the manifestation of
intelligence power and law. It is the creator clothed in definite
form.
Touch yourself and say I AM, I AM the creator. Can you see that your
God’s creation clothed in definite form, that’s what you are and
with you comes this invisible intelligence and power and with you
comes its love which will always reflect back to you exactly what’s
happening in your consciousness and your consciousness is not
stable, your consciousness is liquid all depending on what your
doing with your freedom. The infinite could not impose limitation on
its creation without limiting itself which is impossibility. So this
idea that I have been limited by distance equals rate times time by
the mire speed of light.
In any scientific movie they talk about being able to move between
galaxies which is always what, way faster than the speed of light so
the scientific writers wrote this idea that this is faster than the
speed of light and that is how it works because in creation in
imagination you can write things like that. It is faster than the
speed of light and therefore it is not supernatural its just warp
speed. So we will just go warp speed and how about quantum speed
because there is no distance and rate and time, just now. So if were
wanting to wake up we start creating the life we have imagined and
how do we create the life we have imagined by looking at what do I
mean now. Oh pain suffering, no that is not what I mean, oh what do
I mean now, what I mean is love in peace out.
I was on the freeway and I had a love in peace out experience and I
know where the lanes and traffic flow is and I am changing lanes and
I have plenty of feet between me and the next car but the next car
was a young man who decided he needed to fill the gap in that space
and he hit his accelerator as I am moving over and I saw him and he
hit his horn and I just get into my LA wonderfulness and so when I
get shocked from the outside I constrict and everything feels
terrible so I pull back over as he made me jump and he gets up next
to me and he is not giving me the eye Now what do you do when
someone gives you the eye, so I could start a Vietnam War right
there just because he honked at me and someone thought that I was
expending the space that he had not yet claimed? So I felt this
reaction in me wanting to get back into the game and argue with him
and it’s an inside thing. Before it ever happened in physical
reality because I had not moved anything yet and I had this inner
sense to make an inner adjustment and now he is eyeing me and I
thought I could turn to him and engage this thing or I could make a
decision and I said no, love in and I choose not to go there and I
choose to be love and all of a sudden the traffic pattern moves and
he is gone and I do not see the guy again until he needs another
lesson from me in life.
As soon as I changed I was love in and peace out but love in has to
happen first and it is not subject to time and space, its is subject
to what I do with my freedom, it is subject to where I put my
attention. So our day to day spiritual practice involves these three
things.
First we have to acknowledge that there is a oneness and it all
works and there is no such thing as a disconnected anything. First
you have to acknowledge that.
Then you have to accept it, God it sure looks like a separate thing,
sure looks life something is happening unto me, no there is only one
thing it’s all related it is all happening out of my own
consciousness. First I have to acknowledge it and then I have to
accept it and then the third thing is now I have to direct it. I
have to tell it which way to go, this is not what I mean now, and
this is what I mean now. I don’t fighting on the freeway, I mean
love. I don’t mean love of who I will be in my spiritual center I
mean love as a way I will be in the world. I have to direct it and
constantly redefine what it is that I’m directing. Because the
moment we are ready to receive is when we’ll experience miracles.
The moment we are ready to receive.
So forget about time and space don’t worry about the house is what
we say but do take the time to imagine the life that you mean. Do
take the time in your day to day life to notice what is showing up
the way you mean it and when it shows up the way you mean it I
recommend you use your mind, your body your soul your very being and
you say “that’s what I’m talking about” because you have to impress
your consciousness with what you mean and when it comes out what you
don’t mean, you do the same thing “that’s not what I mean”. What I
mean is and you go through the process so when the glasses fall out
of my pocket and I say wow I wasn’t over the ocean I don’t mean that
any more and it is no ok for glasses to randomly fall out of my
pocket according to the laws of gravity. So I need to work it a
different way and I need to make the adjustment and the only place I
have to tell is my own consciousness about what I mean now and that
is a daily practice that goes on all day.
What does it mean it means we will have to let go of our old
patterns, it means that were going to understand the truth that
where my attention goes my energy flows. And were going to have to
start paying attention where we put our energy and where were
putting our attention and therefore our energies.
What I think about tends to come about and so I had better pay
attention to what I’m thinking about and here is the good news. The
more I ponder the glory of the magnificence of God, the more I
realize that I am that the greater authority I’m giving myself to
create what it is that I need.
We have to release something yes, all the old patterns that don’t
work anymore, you will have to release that and let go of your old
defenses. You may have to discover that you’re vulnerable and a
little raw because your old defenses no longer work anymore. So you
might need to engage compassion and forgiveness so that you can
create what you want but we have to acknowledge that were not asking
this to happen outside of ourselves, we asking for it to happen
inside of ourselves but the only thing that real is consciousness.
So when it gets tuff we can connect to our higher self, we can
remind ourselves that were moving forward. We can tell ourselves
that is not what I mean anymore and we can reframe and when we get
afraid and in doubt you can fall back on a trick that works very
well because God designed it that way. Fall back into your
gratitude, when your a little afraid and don’t know start
contemplating what you do know and what you are grateful for and
that will strengthen you so that you can begin to imagine what you
mean now again and again. And remember whatever you gain for
yourself, what ever you decide that you are the demonstration of the
opulence of the glory of God, when ever you decide that, you decide
it for yourself and all humanity and humanity is waiting for you For
the messiah has come and you are that and my friends it is my honor
and privilege to be gathered with them messiah’s of the world and I
invite you to think on these things and together let us explore the
possibilities.
