“OUTRAGEOUSLY ATTRACTIVE"

When we think about outrageously attractive we
think about how am I representing myself in the world, am I
attractive in the world? The way the movie the secret has talked
about the law of attraction is to be outrageously attractive is to
have the consciousness that is attracting whatever it is that I
desire in my life. Ernest Holmes the great metaphysician he reminded
us that you can have, you can use anything you want on this planet.
You can’t keep any of it, but you can use it. That there is no such
thing as something in the material world you get to keep because we
are spiritual beings, we come into the material experience in order
to enjoy the material experience, to have the material experience
and then we leave it all behind There use to be a bumper sticker in
the 1990’s when everybody was into the big material consciousness
and the bumper sticker said the one with the most toys at the end
wins and I said no the one with the most toys in the end dies anyway
There is no amount of stuff in the world that you can take with you;
you can use any amount of it. So whatever it is that you are seeking
in terms of your physical attractiveness, you can have that. You
want an armonie suit, you can have an armonie suit, you can have a
fancy car and they are all going to come and come to pass right?
Because the reality is what you’re creating, you’re creating out of
your own law of attraction. So let me reiterate very basically the
teaching the teaching is a teaching of love and law and people say
well what does this have to do with the science of mind and of
course what we always want to do is, what do I do first? What is
step one and we always want to come back to what was that! But you
see in our knowing we know, the reason that you come into a center
like this is because we begin with the idea that all are one. That
there is one power, one presence, one life it belongs to all people
it finds itself centered in each one of us, it is announced and
proclaims I AM. There is the overall principal, one life and I am
that life right? And then there is a second part of that principal
and this is the second part of the principal which is simple but not
easy. Simple in concept but requires that we work with it all the
time and the simplicity of the teaching in this church, the teaching
of Religious Science, the teaching of new thought, the principals of
awakening world doesn’t matter what name we call them, the principal
is the principal of love and law and its a very simple principal.
That the universe, that which is God the very high most high god
impels itself into creation out of its love for itself. That the
impulsion of the universe is love. Ok now we say that’s it, why does
the universe exist, love. What’s the reason for God love? What the
reason for me, love, what the reason for beauty, love, what the
reason for art, love, you name the reason for anything and its
reason is love. Do you feel better now? We say well why don’t we
just make it simple every week because it’s been made simpler in
your awareness from the time you were little. Something within you
knows the reason for everything is love; something within you knows
that the only fear that you ever have is the fear of loosing love.
If I loose all my money nobody will love me, if I loose my stuff
nobody will love me, if I have no value in the world nobody will
love me. If I don’t receive any e-mails nobody loves me right? Our
fear is born out of a lack of our fear of loosing love which is the
very existence for being is love and so we all have to go through
the process of fear and doubt in order to return the fear to faith.
We all have to go through the process of fear and doubt in order so
that we can raise our faith, this making sense? And you say I don’t
like the process of fear and doubt, I don’t like it either but it is
the process through which when we acknowledge our fears and work
with our fears we can raise our faith and that takes an awakening.
So the principal is love and God so loved the world and he gave, the
biblical line is God so loved the world that he gave his only
begotten son, and that has been misinterpreted into the personal
meaning that there was only one person that God loved. No what the
actual interpretation is that there is only one child of God,
everybody touch themselves say I AM, I AM that child of God, the I
AM that I am the child of God. I am the child of God the I that I am
is the child of god and Meister Eckhart the twelfth century mystic
he said the only begotten is forever begetting itself in me now. The
only child of god is forever revealing itself in me now; the only
reason for the universe is love. So the first principal is love and
the second principal is law, and the principal of law is very
simple. The sum total of your awareness creates that which life
responds to. The sum total of your awareness creates that which life
responds to. So we have a principal of love which is the personal
list of God and we have a principal of law which is simple the
mechanical aspect of God. You put good energy you get good energy
out You put love in you get love out, you put fear in you get fear
out, you put hate in you get hate out. It is a principal and it is
there in the sixteen points as the principal of “as”. So we say as
you honor life, life honors you, it’s a principal and that’s the
principal of law. So now we have to take the principal of love and
law and say now again I now just told you there is no metaphysician
anywhere on the planet bar now and I don’t care if its Deepak or
Wayne or Marianne or pick your favorite and I don’t care who it is,
there is no higher reality than we live in a universe of love and
law. Now I just gave you the most profound spiritual information on
the planet and do you feel better? We say why then if it is so
simple do we have to say it again and again and again and the answer
is because the only authority by which you can really know God is
you. You’re the only authority by which you can know God. So it
doesn’t matter who lectures or who says or what the thing is, I am
the only one who can experience the love of god in me and nobody
else can do that work for me. So we say here is the principal and we
say well how does the principal work? And what we are interested in
being is outrageously attractive yes? In attracting into our lives
everything that is the fulfillment of our desires, everything that
is the fulfillment of the meaning of our lives. Everything that
would say that I came and I sung every note I had to sing and I sang
it out fully and completely. I live my life having sung my song as
opposed to May she rest in peace. Or I came I struggled, I left.
I would rather attractive the fulfillment of our desires the highest
levels of love, the highest levels of joy, the highest levels of
meaning, the highest levels of creativity, the highest level of
success and let everybody success create what it is they are wanting
in their life and to root for your success as much as I will root
for mine, because your success is my success. When I really realize
that there is only one of us here of course your success is my
success. Every time you grow a little bit it’s my growth, it’s my
success, and we all win. Everybody wins as soon as the vibration
goes up for humanity, we all win, everybody wins so we say well how
then do I become outrageously attractive? Let me remind you, there
is this principal of love and law and the operating force in that
principal is consciousness. The principal of love and law and the
operating force is consciousness and everybody has a consciousness
whether they ever heard of the principal or whether they know it’s
an operating force, everybody so that’s why we love our tradition
because our tradition says it belongs to everybody. In fact we would
not have the audacity to say that we could not withhold it from
anybody, we have no authority by which to withhold it from anybody.
Everybody’s consciousness creates there experience, whether they
know it or not. Well we say what is my consciousness and your
consciousness is the chalice the liquid chalice of what you’re doing
with your awareness. So you know when you are having a bad hair day
right? You know when you are having a bad hair day and causing your
vibration to go down, you recognize that so I am having a bad day
and I’m rocking out in my bad hair day and then you know what we
tend to do with bad hair days, we find everybody that we can to
blame. He did it, she did it, they did it and there is always
somebody outside myself to blame for the bad hair day, but the
reality is your consciousness brought forth the bad hair day. Oh so
this is why we say change your mind, change your experience.
Remember the goal her is pretty simple, and let me give you a couple
of biblical goals which you might have in your consciousness. In the
Old Testament in Exodus it says behold I send an angle before thee
to keep thee by the way and to bring thee into the place which I
have prepared. Behold I send an angle before you to keep you in the
right place that I have prepared out of love for you, I send an
angle. In the New Testament it says every valley shall be filled in,
every mountain and hill made low the crocked roads become straight
and the ruff roads made smooth, that’s the promise that we can live
our life, that our consciousness goes in front of us and makes the
way clear. That our consciousness goes in front of us and causes
miracles to happen. Our consciousness opens the door because we are
working with our consciousness all the time. Henry David Thoreau
shared with you if one advances confidently in the direction of his
dreams and endeavors to live the life he has imagined he will meet
with his success unexpected in common hours, live in your dreams,
live in your consciousness, work on your consciousness and it will
create success. There is a universal spirit that will guide and
direct and companion you but there is also a universal law which
sees to it that every act, every thought every motive must be
accounted for, oh consciousness is everything. So we say well wait a
minute then if my consciousness is the force that will work upon the
law which some are calling the law of attraction, it’s just the way
the law works in that capacity right? The law by consciousness will
go before me, my consciousness will impress the law, and the law
then will bring everything to me, the law of God then will bring
everything to me that is mine by right of consciousness. Everything
that you have now, everything you ever will have, everything you
ever could have can only come to you one way, by the right of your
own consciousness, there is no other way for it to get there. Well
then we say well what is step one of consciousness? Why doesn’t Dr.
Harry just give me step one in consciousness? Because consciousness
is an amalgamation. Consciousness is everything you think, say, feel
and do, consciousness is created by everything that you are. You are
creating your consciousness every moment; you are creating your
consciousness by everything you think, say, do and feel. Well then
what does this church teach about consciousness, this church teaches
tools, we teach affirmative prayer, a way of praying that is
affirmative with the law of consciousness, we call that spiritual
mind treatment Affirmative prayer, and we teach meditation, to quite
that monkey mind of sixty thousand thoughts a day, ninety seven
percent of them are repetitive thoughts, no kind of open your mind,
still your mind to let the inspiration of spirit come in so that you
can get a new thought. Affirmations hang out when I am radiant,
vibrant dynamic health, hang out that I am in the image and likeness
of God. Hang out that I am born in the wholeness of God. Hang out
that today’s the day the lord made and I shall rejoice and be glad
at it. And what does it say in your program under the sixteen points
of the life, it says choose life, choose life as the number one
thing about life, choose life and we say I didn’t know I had a
choice, yes you do you have a choice, everybody has a choice.
Everyday what will you do with your choice, what will you do with
your choice so we have affirmations and meditation and affirmative
prayer and we say forgiveness, you have to live your life in
forgiveness because to the degree that you withhold love, you don’t
have that love. To the degree that you withhold love, you don’t have
love, well they didn’t meet my expectations, they didn’t do what I
wanted, he said, she said, and to the degree that you do that you
diminish your own love and you say you have to act in forgiveness
well its hard to forgive everybody all of the time, “hello” and you
have a choice that you are either a spiritual being or your a human
being. Human beings suffer, spiritual beings rise up, humanity
suffers have you noticed or is it just me that sees that humanity
suffers? You turn on the news and you see that humanity suffers, and
until humanity decides to rises up and you don’t turn on the news
and say Michael Beckwith is out there suffering do you? You don’t
see Oprah suffering everyday do you? How much success does Oprah
have, her cup runneth over, why because she chooses all the time
what she will do with her consciousness, everyday she is choosing
what she will do with her consciousness. Everybody everyday is
choosing what they do with their consciousness, they may just not
know they are choosing. So we teach these things, we teach these
ways to rise up and we say well I’ve tried forgiveness and I have
tried affirmation and I have tried spiritual mind meditation and I
work on meditation and I work on all of these things and I even work
on meditating on visioning to call forth the issues so I use all the
tools, what would God have me be and my consciousness is rising up,
what do I do about my consciousness, so I give you sixteen points in
a new era.
I have a friend of mine a very successful friend of mine, successful
in the entertainment industry and a colleague of mine I have known
him for a long time had his birthday yesterday and it dawned on him
how old he was and it bummed him out. So he woke up at four o’clock
in the morning, that’s the hour of the wolf and the hour that we
give monkey mind too much authority and so the monkey mind starts
picking away at it, my God your old and no body loves you anymore
and its all over right? So I said tell you what I will take you to
lunch and I had no plan to take him to lunch it was not in my
awareness, my prayer in the morning was let me be love, let me be
life, let me be joy. Let me participate in the deepest levels of
beauty all around me today and so we had lunch at the four seasons,
overlooking the waterfall. I didn’t know that was going to happen
and just as I am walking out the door to go have lunch with him
spirit says to me, you had better give him the sixteen points and I
said I don’t have a copy of the sixteen points, I see Dee has helped
us you can download those sixteen points from the website for free.
So I sat at the four seasons talking to my buddy about the sixteen
points, now why would you do that for your birthday and as I
reviewed with him the sixteen points he went “oh my God” I feel so
much better . This is the sixteen points to tell monkey mind to go
back to sleep. Carry it with you, you want to know how do you raise
your consciousness, you practice, you practice and you use all the
tools you can, use all the awareness you can, you all the support
you can, you all the music you can, use everything to get your
consciousness moving because you think, say or do and feel is
affecting the outcome of your life. So if you can begin to rise up
from the negativity and the fear and the doubt. If you can begin to
practice the principals, if you can begin to practice your
affirmations, if you can begin to pray a little more, if you can
begin to set the context of your day and let spirit reveal the
content of your day. All the things that we talk about here all the
time, everything is not designed that you get fireworks spirituality
and all of a sudden you rise up on a chariot of light and you say
there goes Moses wasn’t he grand, no, no, it goes day by day by day,
your life gets better. I had two spiritual leaders call me last
week, two well known spiritual leaders call me last week and they
called for only one reason and they called to tell me how much they
loved me and how much they appreciate me.
Do you see the blessing of life coming to you from places known and
unknown and in ways not seen or understood emerging from the real
love of life for itself, why because consciousness is everything and
if you want to be outrageously attractive, to attract everything
into your life that is the fulfillment of your soul and your very
reason for being, which your inner knower knows and knows that you
know and knows that you can have it and your going to have to choose
to become outrageously attractive, your going to have to choose. Oh
that consciousness stuff I tried it once and it didn’t work, no, no,
I promise you and I will know you for eternity because I AM and if
you want to know me for eternity its’ entirely up to you but I
promise you sooner or later your inner knower is going to turn to me
eye to eye, face to face, heart to heart, love to love and they are
going to say you know what, consciousness is everything and I’m
going to say that’s why you are so outrageously attractive.
And you will be and not only will you be attractive in everything
that’s the attraction of your life but you will emanate that
attractiveness and that which you didn’t even see yourself as beauty
will begin to radiate as beauty and that which is your light will
begin to shine so bright even you will enjoy in way that you didn’t
know you could. And some day people will be praying just as they
already do in their heart of hearts but they will be conscious of it
and they will call you and they will say I just wanted to call and
tell you I am so grateful that you exist. Everybody in this
sanctuary has already touched my life in such a way that I am
totally and completely grateful that you exist, that we have a
change to share love and if you truly seek to be outrageously
attractive give yourself over, give yourself over to God. That God
itself will restore your consciousness and vitalize your life
because you are the only begotten child of God and unless you sing
your song, nobody will know the glory of you and that’s the choice
you have everyday.
So my friends this morning what I know is we have the capacity to be
outrageously attractive, we have the capacity to be an outrageously
attractive force for good on this planet We have the capacity to be
outrageously attractive for the good all around us with everybody
and for everybody and that’s what it is to dedicate yourself to the
truth that you are right now, you will always be, you have always
been a spiritual being. I celebrate your spirit, I celebrate you and
I see you as outrageously attractive.
