“E IS FOR EVERYTHING”

Today’s title is E is for everything and my buddy
Michael Beckwith has for a long time shared the eyes have not seen
and it is a biblical quote and I only use the bible to support my
point of view and I recommend that you use any book to support your
point of view and hopefully your point of view is open and learning
and becoming more and more aligned with truth. Because in our
teaching we only have one authority, in our teaching which is new
thought, new thought has many different names and faces in fact what
we find is new thought is going out in the world without ever being
attached to the term new thought. Eckhart Tolle is teaching new
thought principals Marianne Williamson is teaching new thought
principals, Deepak Chopra is teaching new thought principals. There
are principals that believe in four basic things, God is all there
is, I am that, Life responds to me by corresponding to me, and all
things are evolving. Those components exist within the philosophy of
new thought which is being taught now around the world sometimes by
name and sometimes by those ideas. And what is not important is that
we name it what is important is that we begin to receive the
information, we begin to empower ourselves by means of knowing who
and what we are. So the biblical line is the eyes have not seen, the
ears have not heard nor have entered into the heart of man the glory
for those that love God. Eyes have not seen or ears have not heard
nor have entered into the heart of man the glory that is available
for those who love God. Well I believe that to a large extent that
is true were beginning to see that there is a joy, there is an
ecstasy there is a bliss that most people do not ever get to in
their lives. You see the line from Henry David Thoreau he says most
people are living lives of quiet desperation to finally end up
getting ripped and that is where you can lay in the ground and
something on your sign says rest in peace, to be ripped. I finally
got there, I got to rest in peace as opposed to I finally got there,
I got my heart open my eyes began to see, my ears began to hear the
glory that God would have for me.
That is the opening that you and I are headed to, that’s the
awareness that were headed to and yet it requires a dedication, it
requires a commitment and of course that is the thing that we most
afraid of. If I commit to something what if I commit to isn’t the
real thing? We look at the divorce rates in this country and you see
well what if I commit to something and it’s not the real thing You
look at the business failures in this country, you look at all the
people, people commit and it doesn’t work out and then they become
afraid of commitment because what they were committed to was not the
right thing. So what were trying to find out how can I live my life
committing to a deeper level of truth and I love the line that our
friend the Reverend Dr. Terry Cole Whittaker shares, how do you
recognize truth. How do you recognize truth, truth will make you
feel good. The intention of our being together is not to create a
social fabric A social fabric is wonderful it is a benefit and it is
one of the things we get by means of our commitment. Because birds
of a feather flock together and if we choose to commit to a higher
idea we will discover that other like minded souls are committing to
this higher idea and out of that become a social reality because we
would prefer to hang out with like minded people.
Have you ever gone to the beach or gone on a hike or done anything
beautiful with somebody’s attitude was negative? And you go to the
beach and they can take a perfectly glorious day at the beach and
make it miserable. Go out into the most glorious wilderness there is
and they don’t even see it. So of course something happens by means
of our commitment. We end up attracting into our experience people
who are of like mind who will look around and notice the beauty of
the day, who will see the glory of life and we want that and that is
a benefit however it is all about my heart seeing the glory that God
would have for me. Eyes have not seen nor ears hear nor have opened
unto the heart of man the glory that God would have for those who
love him. Who love God and in this case it was described as a him
but God is the being ness of light and the challenge now in our time
is we have as Al Sidd shared in the reading as my friend Walter
Starcke who I called on the phone as he was writing that letter that
some of you have received his newsletter and he said I have to tell
you this I’m so glad you called because I needed to tell somebody
God is dead. But what he was talking about is we have created a God
that is outside of ourselves, we have created this power that is
outside of ourselves. Originally it was the condemning, bull
throwing mean old God and then through the presence of Saints,
Sages, mystics and avatars we learn that this could be a God of love
that it could actually be doing everything out of love and then we
say there is this power outside of myself that decided whether I’m
good or whether I’m bad and its not throwing bolts anymore but man
is it measuring our karma every second.
So we are still believing that this power outside of ourselves is
keeping the score list and is going to come back and deliver it to
us. No that is not how it works now, that’s not how it worked ever
you see in Ecclesiastes in the bible it says God made man upright
and man sought out many inventions. Why because we are co creators
with the universe. Everything you think say feel and do does
something and it is a closed system so whatever you think say feel
and do reflects back to you and it looks like its the God outside of
you but its never happened outside of you its only been happening
inside of you. Because it is all taking place in you because there
is only one power here and I am that, it is the I AM at the very
center of my being.
So the E is for everything is to remind us and we are going to do a
month long theme in May called consciousness May and the reason is
consciousness may create the life of your dreams. Consciousness may
create problems, consciousness may create answers Consciousness may
create love, consciousness may create fear. Consciousness may do a
lot of things the question is what am I doing with my consciousness?
The E is for everything this is the story as I was just talking to a
soon to be niece of mine and she is going to marry my nephew and I
was talking to her yesterday. I have two stories one with the young
women who will be my niece and the other story about what happened
to me and related to consciousness is everything the E is for
everything. The whole idea is can we step into the realization that
my inner reality is creating my reality. And what we like to do is
say well my inner reality is creating all of the parts that I like
and those son of a guns are creating the parts that I don’t like.
So I am almost alive and whole in God all except for the part where
I’m a victim And we love to hold that little section out that
something’s just happen Well something’s just happen and
consciousness is everything all except for that. Consciousness is
everything but you don’t know about my office, you don’t know who I
have to work with at the office. So we love to find some way and of
course every time we do this what we don’t know is that we give our
power away. Even if you say well consciousness is everything but I
can’t help this economy is doing this? I can’t help this Republicans
are doing this or I can’t help this Democrats are doing this It
doesn’t matter who you say is the authority outside of yourself its
all of a sudden I have dominion except when I don’t. Every time we
give that away we have a leak in our consciousness. Because our
consciousness is beginning to get clear, it is beginning to get
focused and then we give the power away which we are gaining
clarify, we are gaining strength and we give it away and as you give
it away you have lost it and then you have to go and get it again.
So we begin to say how do I start to live from consciousness is
everything. That everything is happening in my spirit.
So yesterday I am talking to this young lady and so and so and you
know how it is this person is such a jerk at my office and
something’s you just have to let go meaning something’s are them not
me. I have no relationship to it and I said it is interesting that
you should mention that let me tell you a story because it just
happened to me.
What is happening now is that we in an age, we are in a time where
consciousness is literally creating a whole new energy it is what we
call the energy of the third appearance It is the energy of the
cosmic Christ becoming individualized as you and me. It is the
energy of the awakening Buddha becoming individualized as you and
me. It is the idea of the Moses code translating itself as the I AM
that I AM. And we begin to see that this is actually happening in
the world and so now what is happening are literally two different
things. One of them symbolized by an Oprah who keeps doing whatever
she wants to do and creating more magnificence out of it. There is
no one telling Oprah what she can or cannot do and our of her
consciousness of new of creating whatever she wants she creates
whatever she wants and brings whole new ideas into the world. A new
game show of how much you can give in the world and make a game out
of how much you can give in the world. Whole new methodologies of
people learning half a million people at one time studying Eckhart
Tolle book why because that’s the new energy, Oprah’s a symbol of
the new energy. Dream your dream, live your dream, fill your
consciousness with truth, live from that truth and create what you
want. How many are willing to do that in your own life? Oh I would
do that Dr. Harry all except for you don’t know who I work with at
the office. So what is it that we have to do in order to really
recognize that what we are and what we are doing is something
magnificent? And the good news for you and me and I don’t say this
to scare anybody is to tell you that those who have been working on
their own consciousness, those who have been working on working the
laws of creation toward a greater good for themselves and everybody
else are beginning to find themselves vibrating in circumstances
that are beyond what the race is doing.
For example my wife is in Real Estate and you have heard the word
about real estate and my wife is off to her first quarter start that
just starts better than she has ever had in this career in this
quote unquote market. Why because my wife knows that consciousness
creates experience. She dedicated herself to making sure she is
meditating. She dedicates herself to make sure she is getting
positive stuff for her CD players. She is looking for the highest
material that she can share with people. The Malibu Real estate
Association wants me to come and speak for them so things are
happening because she is holding a consciousness and everybody goes
how come your success ding while all the rest of us are in this
market? And the answer is consciousness, consciousness is the answer
because what I am, what I am is what God is the claim that Alcid
read for you that when we decide that the Science of Mind and spirit
will work for everything, it will work for everything and it’s a
claim that we say this will work for everything. This will work in
every area of your life and were not going to say that it doesn’t.
Well what if it doesn’t come out the way that I want to well that
has something to do with your consciousness and that’s when they get
mad at me. No your consciousness is creating but now the field is
ripe for harvest and your consciousness will start creating faster
and it doesn’t matter whether your creating good or bad because that
is all for you to decide. I don’t know if it’s good or bad that’s
for you to decide. How is it coming out in your world you’re the
only one who is going to decide if it’s good or bad. What I am
telling you is that the laws of creation are responding faster
because consciousness has risen to a place where the field is now
ripe for the harvest. And it will start happening faster all the
time.
So my almost niece says to me well you know something just happen
and I said let me tell you a story.
So last week I am talking to a couple of thousand people in Houston
and during the experience they built this huge sanctuary big balcony
that seats a thousand people at one time and two big screens and the
camera and all the nice stuff in this new building that they just
built. So there is a green room and I am prefacing this story
because I totally honor all these great new thought teaches who are
teaching new thought without calling it new thought. Deepak Chopra,
Marianne Williamson Wayne Dyer and Eckhart Tolle many books are out
there now and they are including these ideas and they are teaching
these principals because there is only one truth, everybody sees the
same truth once they find it. So I honor Deepak Chopra but I cannot
say that I know him personally I just encountered him a few times in
the green room and he happened to have been at this church a couple
of weeks before I was there doing a seminar. You do a seminar and
you take a break and usually in those breaks you go to your table to
sign books or to get your material and so Deepak was doing what we
do, taking time to sign books and he has taught for about an hour
and he is going to go back and teach for another forty minutes and
that will be the deal Well during the time he was doing the book
signing this woman who was a member of the congregation and wants
his attention. He is trying to give everybody his attention they are
waiting in line to get his book signed and so he is trying to be
gracious I would not have the time to do this right now well the
women gets into reaction with this and then starts calling him names
and starts getting profane with him and calls him a liar, a fake a
cheat and every other thing that you could call him, so at this
point someone from the church comes and helps to remove her and help
her and then he has to go back to the green room to go get ready to
teach for another hour, but he is not exactly centered. He is not
exactly centered because this women came after him and he is trying
to meditate and it is really bothering that this women would do this
to him in public, so then he starts to think to himself, I teach
that everything that is happening is a reflection of something that
is happening in you, that were totally responsible for everything in
our world and we have a relationship to everything. That would be
CIE Consciousness is everything so here he is a consciousness
teacher and advanced consciousness teacher vibrating at a pretty
high level, he now takes this lesson into his own heart and so he
calls his assistant in another state and asks am I ever arrogant
rude and profane? And there is this long pause and the woman wants
to protect her job and she says well doctor you do so many good
things and he said thank you you answered the question
So then he calls his wife from the green room and he tells about
this thing and he said I have to ask you this question am I
sometimes arrogant and separating and profane? And he says my wife’s
pause was twice as long as my assistant.
So it reflects back to us faster whatever it is that we are creating
will reflect back to us faster if were paying attention. So I hear
this story during my own break and somehow during the second half of
the seminar I share this story because I was talking about the fact
that it doesn’t matter how experienced you are or how much you
meditate or how much practice you have it is always a new thought
that will create a new experience. And so we have to be looking if
were seeking to grow, if were seeking to expand we have to be
looking for new thoughts, meaning thoughts we have not had before
and sometimes they will come in ways we don’t expect and so here was
this advanced master teacher got a lesson from his own group while
teaching that helped him to reframe something about himself that he
had not seen and awe yes let me tell you the rest of the story with
good Dr. Harry.
So this good doctor Harry has this very successful day he has flown
to Houston, he has done his work and I am on the business expense
there and I go back to my room and order a Texas steak and they are
sending a car for me in the morning and I have movies on demand, I
watch the great debaters and it is pretty nice and I did a good days
work and relax into it and celebrate it. So the car comes for me
right on time and I am ready to go and take me to the airport drop
me off curbside and here is your boarding pass and I have plenty of
time to get through security and get a star bucks and I finally get
to the gate and I look at my seat me the experienced traveler and I
have a middle seat. I had plenty of time one hour ago to fix this
when I arrived at the airport but now when I go up to the gate I
tell them I have a middle seat and they tell me I am sorry sir we
have a sold out flight and I say oh well I’ll adjust and I get in
the middle seat and I don’t like the fact that the seats have to be
in the upright locked position so all I need to do is cheat that
seat back an eighth of an inch and I have traveled enough and I know
how to do that and so an eighth of an inch so the stewardess cannot
tell so I am sitting in the seat and it is in position and it is
four o’clock my time and I have been changing times but as soon as
that plane is off the ground I am going to put that seat all the way
back and go to sleep. So I’m meditating and the plane is almost full
and all of a sudden the women behind me take the seat and pushes it
with all her might and jolts me forward and she said to me your seat
is not in the upright position, after jolting me and so ok I love
you I bless you and so the plane takes off and I put my seat all the
way back now I am falling asleep and about five minutes later the
women grabs my seat from behind and pushes it with all her might and
sends me flying forward into the seat and she is saying I cannot
reach my computer as if this is my fault. So what was happening was
an invitation for me to step out of consciousness and blame this
women’s consciousness for creating my experience, you see how fast
it happens. Why because I had spoken to the good doctor and so what
part of me, it says that I’m so special that I get the extra eighth
of the seat and I can do whatever I want and I’m in the wrong seat
in the middle, all of my own stuff came back and reflected at me
right there and you know what Dr. Harry gets a “c”. Now what happens
when she wants to get to her computer and this was really her
challenge not mine so all I said to her when she jolted me that
second time is really if you had been willing to ask me I am sure we
could have worked something out and at which point she calls the
stewardess. But I’m not getting back into this energy and you know
how they do that to you on the freeway you want to do it back so I’m
not playing in that energy I am not doing it back but I’m trying to
get clear and return to love and I’m having a hard time. So the
stewardess comes over and basically says sorry madam you’re out of
bounds and I did not say a word and that was the end of the
conversation. Well now we are getting off of the plane in the isle
and she is right there behind me and all I have to do is turn and
wish her a nicer day and I’m sorry that I was the problem for you
today and I really did not mean it, all I had to do was finish it
but no I did not want to. I did not even want to look at her, in
fact when I got outside the plane to look at the monitor I was so
glad it was in another terminal, oh I get to walk away from this
women wherever she is. You see even the good D. Harry forgot and he
forgot to practice forgiveness, he forgot to return to love, he
forget to go to his highest self. So it doesn’t matter whether
you’re Deepak Chopra in other words I did not do it any better I did
not return evil with evil but I didn’t also return the other cheek
and return love. So this waking up requires that we pay attention,
because what was she a reflection of.
I had brought in the energy of a master teacher and his challenges
and I’m a master teacher and no sooner did I invoke that energy and
I attracted it so fast because were in a time of manifestation where
whatever it is that your consciousness is is going to manifest fast
for you . So if you’re staying in your fears and your doubts and
your worries, if you’re wondering if the alligators are going to get
you. If all of your attention is on alligators you’rr going to get
more alligators and on the other hand if you remember who you are, I
am the light of the world, I am the truth, I am the grace when I
stay on the edge of my own consciousness things are going to change
and there going to change fast for the better, according to where my
consciousness is. Because the law is always consistent, your
consciousness will come measured back to you exactly as it actually
is. So whether you think that your attracting it or not, you are
because it could not be in your experience if you were not
attracting it. You can’t say that the law works when I want to
perceive the law and the law doesn’t work when it’s incontinent for
me to perceive the law. I take full responsibility for my middle
seat and the whole middle seat consciousness that I got involved in.
Because something within me is not including everybody and the
universe wanted me to see it it will always come back to us and
reflect exactly what is so in our experience but what we have to do
is, let me rephrase that, you don’t have to do anything but what I
would wish for you, what I would hold for you, what I will stay in
my prayer and meditation and when I meditate for you on Sunday
morning and when I meditate to be of service to you I’m am not
meditating on your personal self and your personal problems because
I am meditating on your grandness. I am meditating on your life as
the Christ as the Atman, as the Buddha as the gift of life’s
presence and I want to support that light in its full orbed
expression in this dimension so that you’re not living a life of
quiet desperation but you’re living a life of joyous creation and
you’re watching your joyous creation come back to you and so why
then do we say open the doors, we are opening the doors to become
part of this consciousness hang out with birds of a feather, work on
your own consciousness, stay in the game because it will liberate
you and your heart will begin to see and when your heart begins to
see and your eyes will begin to see and your ears will begin to know
the glory that God has in store for you. But it requires that we
recognize in the world right now and I don’t send this out as a fear
thing I just send this out as a blessing thing to yourself and when
you’re ready because you know how churches grow, you know how they
really grow they don’t grow by advertising, they don’t grow by
television, they grow by word of mouth. And only when you’re ready
when your consciousness is so clear that you say you know what were
doing a whole month in consciousness you should come around and
learn. Because what is going to happen in the world, not as a fear
thing but just so you see the difference is everything that reflects
the old energy of blame and judgment and attack is not going to work
And the new energy of personal responsibility and personal creation
is going to work and when you stay among the field of light workers
who are supporting you in your personal creation and your personal
enfoldment, highest level of realization when you stay in that zone
you’re going to notice all of this stuff that all of the news people
talk about is not personally happening to you because you’re
creating a different vibration, you’re not better than them you’re
simply working a principal at a higher level. And everybody is
welcome to work the principal at a higher level. Consciousness is
the sum total of everything I say, think, feel, and do and
consciousness is creating my experience. So the more you put your
consciousness into the edge of your own being, into the light of
your own light, the more you begin to call the God that you know is
the truth of who and what you are and the center of your being, the
more you call that forward the more you will see it in your
experience. And the more you see it in your experience the more
those who know you are going to want to know what it is that you are
doing and the good news is you’re not trying to take this good unto
yourself you’re trying to share the good and it becomes organic to
invite other people to rise up with you. My friends what I’m here to
remind you this morning is something you already know in your heart
of hearts. That consciousness creates experience, that you by right
of consciousness have been lead to a place where you could be
supported in building a higher and more powerful and more joy filled
consciousness than any you have ever known before and it begins
right here by recognizing that by the grace of the most high you
have been lead to the highest ideas on the planet. And I say don’t
just jump in part time, don’t just put your right foot in and take
your right foot out, don’t just put your left foot in and take your
left foot out. Put your whole self in and stay in the field of
consciousness because consciousness is everything and you already
know it. So take what you know, build upon it, and let us all start
creating the life we have imagined. My friends it is my honor and
privilege to share with you this morning, and I invite you to think
on these things and yes, together let us explore the possibilities.
